We stayed one night and the cottage was so clean! Even the outside table and chairs were super clean! The beds are comfortable.

My family stayed at a cabin on the the lake, a million dollar view, and personal dock. Bbq was also great, save on eating out. Will come back.

Bathroom floor and the wall isn’t clean. And We have to put duvet cover and sheet by ourselves. We need to use a gas lighter to turn on Gas stove .appliances & dishes are old.The Scenery at the cottage is beautiful.

Very beautiful location - great deck area for relaxing Very clean cottage The loft area was very cramped - entering and exiting the loft was cumbersome - my wife and I slept on the futon on the main floor The mattress in the loft was 6 inches wider than the bed frame - not an issue for us (see above) but if you did sleep up there it might be an issue I thought it was weird that I needed to state (at check-in) if I wanted bed linens and towels which was then an extra charge - never seen this before in my travels. Otherwise, great place to stay on a quiet lake

The view is good, but the cottage is dirty and smelly. The most bizarre part is that you have to pay for bedding and towels separately, and those items aren't included by default. We noticed it in their invoice on the date we were supposed to check it and had to call and ask to add bedding. Long story short, stay away unless you enjoy a kids' camp style room with a dirty toilet.

LANG LAKE RESORT IS THE ESSENCE OF ONTARIO COTTAGE COUNTRY -- BEAUTIFUL WATER AND LANDSCAPE VIEWS GREETED US ALONG WITH THE SOUND OF BIRDS AND THE CONVERSATION OF FRIENDLY STAFF AND GUESTS. (KEEP IN MIND THAT MOSQUITOS, etc ARE ALSO PART OF COTTAGE COUNTRY, BUT, THIS IS SIMPLY TO REMIND YOU TO BE PREPARED--NOT TO COMPLAIN OR TO SUGGEST THAT THE OUTDOOR CRITTERS WERE ANY BETTER OR WORSE THAN ELSEWHERE IN ONTARIO!) WE HAD A LOVELY TWO-NIGHT STAY AND ARE CURRENTLY EXPLORING THE OPTION OF HEADING BACK THIS SUMMER WITH A FEW OF OUR FAMILY MEMBERS.

This place is quite off grid and very remote. That was perfect. The lake view was great. The hosts were lovely. My main concern was about the fact that it wasn’t in great repair. The doors and windows were not super secure or easy to open and close. I also didn’t love that we got charged extra for wanting sheets and towels. It’s the only place I’ve ever stayed where I got charged for linens. Nonetheless, Jen was lovely, and I appreciated the local flavor of the area.

We love the location and the lake but we won't be staying again. This was our second time visiting. Last year the cottage itself was pretty bad -- floor collapsing, broken lights, terrible pull out beds -- so this time we splurged for the fancy suite with the hot tub. The hot tub was fun, but the beds were the same horrible pull out couch type, and we were charged $20 for a tiny pack of firewood which is overpriced. Also not a fan of having to pay to have sheets on the bed??? For the price I wasn't impressed.

No clear instructions for the check in process, when we showed up the check in area was closed with a sign on the door displaying a number and who to call for assistance. When we called the manager she showed up and pointed to the cabin and said the door is open you can go on in. We got there around 6 which is a normal check in time so I think the check in area may be always closed. The cabin was mostly clean, sheets were folded on our bed and the bed wasn't made. When we went to make the bed the sheets had holes and white stains, maybe bleach stains? We decided to just sleep on the comforter. I reached over text for the wifi password and received a prompt response with the information needed. The view was nice but it seems the host applies minimal effort while charging too much for what is offered in my opinion. I would not stay here again unless price was lowered by a substantial amount or improvements were made. The cabin has lots of potential to be great.

The space didn't meet our needs; there were no curtains in the facility. The towels were washed but in bad shape. The refrigerator was not clean. If I hadn't paid $300, I would have gone somewhere else to stay.

We had a great stay, Jen was great and as well as Mark. We needed to add a day to our and they had the availability and were able to accommodate us. Check in and check out was super easy. The only issue we had was the bed a lot firmer than we were used to. The only other suggestion I would make is being bug spray! Its Northern Ontario and the bugs will carry you away! The lake view was great and the deck was great to sit on and relax.
