It was helpful to “wake up” the door lock by placing a hand over the face of the lock, and used the “check mark” at the end.
The home is as pictured. We are used to air conditioning, so it felt a bit stuffy to us, but was obviously very well cleaned. The kitchen is large with ample dining space, and all the cooking supplies you would need are present.
The living room is comfortable with plenty of seating, we were here in October and spent most of our time outside by the river. This house has the best outdoor space in the neighborhood by far.
The beds were comfortable, I was happy I brought a firm pillow though, these were all fluffy.
The bathrooms are great, they included shampoos etc which I find is a bonus when renting a house.
The location is relaxing, away from the hustle of downtown Estes, a short drive into town, there is not really any space to go for walks in the neighborhood (that I found), but is so close to the Rocky Mountain National Park, that you will want to do all your walking there 😊
I was delighted they had extra blankets in each of the bedrooms, it was cool in the evenings and we each had something to wrap up in while relaxing by the river. They also had extra box fans, extra toilet paper, plenty of dish towels and rags, a generous amount of towels, a generous of supplies for our stay.
I also greatly appreciated they didn’t ask us to strip the beds and start the laundry before checking out.
