  • Featuring a king bed, three queen beds, two queen sofa sleepers, one queen futon, a full kitchen with a formal dining room, and two living rooms, one with a wood-burning fireplace and two recliners, and one with a gas fireplace. Rocky Mountain Retreat 1A offers a spacious 4-bedroom, 3-bath, duplex home. Enjoy panoramic mountain views, a personal hot tub, gas grill, cable TV with free DVD movie rentals, and complimentary snowshoe rentals during the winter. Downtown shopping and dining rests minutes from your door with Rocky Mountain National Park just 1 ½ miles away. Sleeps up to fourteen. Sorry, no pets allowed in this unit and no smoking, please. Ideal for larger groups or family reunions up to 30 when combined separately with adjoining Rocky Mountain Retreat 1B and the neighboring cabin, Rocky Mountain Retreat 2.

We loved the cabin as the decor was location appropriate! Comfortable beds and sleeping with windows open was great (even on the chilly side)! We would stay again!

It was a great location, very near the RMNP entrance. Loved the two large separate living areas. Made it nice for the nine of us to spread out.

Beautiful mountain vacation spot

We had a wonderful stay in Estes Park with our large family. This cabin is perfectly located close to Rocky Mountain national park and the Town of Estes. It had plenty of room for everyone and the private hot tub was amazing. This was our second stay at this property and we will definitely be back@

Perfect place for us

This was a wonderful stay for our large family vacation! Great location to everything we needed in town and to the park! The property amenities provided everything we needed and the hot tub was a great bonus to relax in while we enjoyed the mountain view. Highly recommended!

Beautiful, spacious cabin in the mountains

This place is awesome! Way bigger than it looks in person, and very clean and comfortable, even for 12 people. I will certainly be staying here again if I’m in town!!

Great place

We have stayed at this location several times but in the past hast to find new lodging which had 4 bedrooms. They have reconfigured the location and now offer a 4 bedroom unit which we stayed in. Worked great for our family and well equipped

Wonderful Estes park Getaway!

We booked this property for a multi-generational family trip. The house was perfect for this trip- accessible for grandparents and plenty of space for all adults and teens to spread out. It is close to town and Rocky Mountain National Park, so a VERY convenient location. The area was quiet and peaceful, all amenities were provided and the property manager was quick to bring us more supplies when needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Great stay near Rocky Mountain national park

We stayed with 3 families for 2 nights in June while road tripping around Colorado. The house was clean and very spacious with plenty of comfortable sleeping spots. Great location near the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. We enjoyed the hot tub as well. Would recommend staying here if you are looking for an affordable place in Estes Park.

Great Space

We had a great time at the location, plenty of space for all of us to sleep and hang out. Amenities were adequate for kitchen use and what we needed the space for to prepare meals. Would definitely use both 1A and 1B again.

Great family weekend!

We had a great weekend, despite the rain. Tons of elk to watch. We could spread out and had plenty of room. There is a huge table which was great for board games. It's a short drive to Rocky Mountain National Park.

Nice place, good location

Close to town, but far enough to be peaceful. Good access to RMNP. We had a group and it worked great for us. Only thing I would improve is how 1a and 1b are labeled. We got there at night and it was a little confusing, but easy enough to figure out.

The views are spectacular! if there are other families it may not be quiet but we went up in winter. The host was helpful and good an gracious about our hot tub knowledge. There is a certain way to open the hot tub we did not know, maybe a little sign explaining the hot tub lid directions for those of us that havent had much hot tub exposure. Thank you for the beautiful house!

The house suited our group very well. The exta charge for over 6 people kind of caught us by surprise. Could be listed or brought to attention earlier in the process.

Family vacation

We were a little skeptical when we drove up but the inside was very clean. There were 6 adults and 3 children and we had plenty of room. Location was great. One suggestion we have is a few more kitchen utensils (spatulas, etc) and more drinking glasses. Most glasses were for wine not juice or water. Overall still a 5 star.

Spacious townhouse near RMNP

Pros: Great view of Rocky Mountains, spacious property, short drive to Downtown Estes Park, good communication and attentive property manager, clean house. Cons: thermostat too difficult to operate, electric fireplace either didn't work or was also too difficult to figure out, loud neighbors partying late heard by shared wall from living room and bedroom.

We weren’t there a lot. 1/2 of the fans didn’t work and the heat was on when we got there. Got locked out when we just used the door once. Dogs barking constantly
