House has everything we needed

Beautiful quiet neighborhood that had all the amenities we needed! Fully equipped kitchen with all the appliances for cooking and cleaning, plenty of blankets and towels and firewood! We enjoyed the easy layout and space for our dog to roam around. Would love to enjoy this house in the summer months as well!

Lake house

I could rate this property a 2 or a 4 out of 5. It all revolves around what you need. The house is large, the beds are as described, kitchen is equipped, the lake is near. a water heater problem was resolved the day it was reported which was great. My issues are the condition of the property, the wood walkways and deck are dirty, and need power washing, the outside furniture is old, screens ripped, single sheet on a queen bed. no toilet paper holder in the master bath, I could go on ...........

Wonderful stay!

This was a great getaway!! The kitchen is overstocked with everything imaginable that you may need! The house is so cozy and so much room for a big family or two to stay. Thank you so much for a great week of rest, relaxation, and recreation!

Amazing fishing cabin

Very nice rustic cabin on The river. Better be great shape to go up and down those stairs that go to the river! Hot tub was broken really needs to be replaced overall we had a great stay!

Family Get together

We had 2 large families and everyone had plenty of room! Beautiful secluded area. We spent most the time on the lake or hiking nearby trails. So many beautiful waterfalls nearby! Thank you for the great week!

Room for everyone!

The home is spacious, and was very clean. We traveled with 2 adults and 3 teens. There was plently of cooking gear in the kitchen for making big meals, which we always do. The beds were comfortbale- there are so many beds in this house I lost count! Two big couches, lots of room for everyone to spread out. A wonderful screened in porch area. Upper and lower level decks were beautiful. Plenty of hot water. Some big flatheads in that cove, fishing right off the dock. They like garlic and red koolaid hotdogs best. I needed to contact the owners, simply due to spring at the lake the hot tub needed cleaned, and they responded right away and fixed the problem immediatly. We come down a few times a year, and this will now be our go to rental each time. This home would def be big enough for bigger groups! Oh, and a wii and plenty of board games too! 5 stars on this one for sure!

Great family get away!

We had a great time! The owners are so nice and very accommodating! One of my favorite things about this place....my daughter is a gourmet cook and she travels with some of her cooking supplies. The kitchen at Jackson's Retreat was so well stocked with everything she needed that she did not have to break out her own cookware.

Quiet Break on the Lake

We travelled with family for a party nearby. The home was beautiful and well stocked. We had direct contact with the owners who were kind and welcoming. We felt like we were staying at a friend’s home. The neighborhood was quiet and the wildlife (while noisy at night) were plentiful. Beautiful families of deer and fawns visited nightly. They had experienced some damage to the docks with recent storms (which they notified us about). It didn’t affect our stay but we appreciated the heads up! When visiting the area in the future we would definitely consider staying again.

Great week at the lake!

Great place for a comfortable and convenient week at a beautiful lake. House was extremely well stocked, beds were comfortable, boat launch right in the neighborhood, and great boat dock down the hill. Hosts were extremely accommodating and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful Home on the Lake

My family (Me, my husband, and 3 adult children) had a wonderful time. Our dogs were able to come with us and also loved it. One of them wanted to stay! The home had lots of space and areas that we could work remotely on Friday. The description was spot on. I appreciated the quick communication and the kindness of the host. The setting was beautiful. It was a walk t the lake (about 100 steps with benches halfway up) however, it was nice to be on a hill, with lots of trees and privacy. We enjoyed coffee on the porch, playing games, and the hot tub!

Girls cabin weekend

Great location, well stocked kitchen, lots of lounge space. Only complaint was that the hot tub did not stay warm and took many hours to hear back up, which was a bummer.

Great getaway

The house had plenty room for our family getaway. We loved the porch sitting. The only thing I would recommend is maybe adding tv's in the bedrooms or at least the master. I didn't notice they didn't have them when booking. The host were very prompt in responding when I had questions.

Home Away From Home

Looking to get away and relax, look no further. This property will provide a comfortable stay for everyone. The home is very well equipped and the hosts are amazing. They welcomed my entire family. The location is great with stores, marinas and restaurants within a short distance. We came here to celebrate our 50th anniversary with our entire family and a great time was had by all. I highly recommend this home.

Spring break getaway

We took a short trip over our spring break and this was the perfect getaway. The house was quiet, clean, and well stocked. We cooked dinner every night and had everything we needed. The hosts were very responsive and easy to rent from. Would definitely return again!
