Peaceful beach vacation

A clean, bright and roomy rental in a wonderful location. Easy walk to a sheltered beach and 2 excellent eateries (check their hours first).

Perfect for us

We had a great stay. The large dock was perfect for our boat and the cleaning facilities on the back deck were exactly what we needed to process the crab. The living area in the house was nice and open with space for all of us to sit down and have dinner and play cards afterwards.

We had 7 people stay here and we had a wonderful time!!! We enjoyed walking to the bay every day. It was very clean and we had everything we needed to cook our meals. Having a washer and dryer was very helpful. The neighborhood is super quiet. It was a very relaxing and peaceful stay.

Easy walk to the beach! Very comfortable well appointed home. Close to all the Redwoods. Would definitely recommend. Stop in to Gil's by the Bay (just around the corner from the house). Great breakfast & lunch (not open every day)

Home /w a dock.

Property was perfect for our stay. We’ll be back if they’ll have us. Never received an email with check in procedures, door code, etc. However, we did speak with the owner who gave us everything we needed. It was such a unique stay. Perfect distance from the beach.

Great location with access to the dock for easy kayaking.The only thing that was unclear was that we booked through VRBO but then the communication was through EVOLVE, and then gave us another phone number, but VRBO asks to only communicate in the app for things, including any payments. Lastly, we were surprised no one mentioned the smell of urine through out the bedrooms and living room. But nice and quiet overall.

House was ok. It smelled very bad of cat urine. I communicated this multiple time with no response. The grill was too filthy to use. Would have liked to actually use that space . House was clean aside from that. Beds were comfortable.not a ton of space but it worked. Nothing spectacular but it will do the job. Not worth the price in my opinion.

My husband and I stayed in the property for three nights. We traveled with my parents and adult brother. There was plenty of space for us all. It’s in a small kind of eclectic community about 10 or so minutes to downtown Eureka. There is a small diner just a few blocks away for breakfast and lunch. The drive to town was really easy. We enjoyed waking up to the water canal views from the deck each morning and just being a couple minutes walk to trails to a beach. The bedroom decor and dining patio furniture is a bit dated, but the kitchen countertops are newer as well as some of the bathroom fixtures. I would stay here again.

Quiet place on the bay

Had a wonderful stay in November for a group of four. Just a short walk to the dunes in a quiet marina setting. The house has a well stocked kitchen with ample work space (only lacks a dishwasher). Very comfortable dining and living areas with a fantastic jukebox phonograph (also with BT, CD and Aux). Two of the three bedrooms were tight and there was only one closet with a clothes rod, but there there were lots drawers. The third bedroom was spacious and has a potbelly stove, though it wasn't needed as the temperature was easily controlled. Between the two bathrooms there are a total of three sinks and a full sized washer and dryer. One of the showers was not working but this is being addressed by the owner. The other, walk-in shower was sufficient for our group. This home is highly recommended!

Fun and Relaxing

My overall experience was great! The property was clean and had all the amenities that my family needed. We really enjoyed the walking distance to the beach. It was also close enough to the town so if we needed anything we wouldn’t have to drive too far. My family definitely made good memories and are thankful to the owners of this property for allowing us to stay.
