13 Acre ¡Retírese una hora fuera de Dallas con 3 estanques de pesca surtidos con Bass, Blue Gill, Catfish y Crappie! Aislado y tranquilo, pero a solo 10 millas de Canton y First Monday Trade Days. Pesque desde el balcón privado, haga una fogata en el fogón, tome el bote Jon en los estanques grandes, observe las estrellas, juegue a las herraduras, o simplemente relájese y disfrute de la naturaleza. Tiendas de antigüedades y arte en las cercanías de Cantón y otras ciudades encantadoras como Ben Wheeler y Edom (con su próspera comunidad artística).

Cabin was neat and tidy, but not clean. Filthy sinks, dirty dishes, molding coffee grounds in coffee maker, tv screen and windows all needed to be cleaned. Nothing appeared to be wiped down, like counters, sinks, table, refrigerator, stove top… Overall I felt unclean all weekend. There was only one very old remote for the tv ( could not read writing on remote) for both units and it didn’t work.( I did swap batteries with AC remote in the room, but still the one remote wouldn’t turn on either tv) Thankfully the tv was Roku and I could use my phone. There were no keys in lock box when arrived but host was quick to respond with directions for a spare key close by. I was alone and only used the downstairs unit so I can not respond to the upstairs. The property was neatly maintained, very quiet and pretty. I was a little put off that there was no “chair” to sit on indoors. Only an old couch( dirty and well used) and two small wooden benches meant for dining. Nice place, but I recommend a new cleaning company.

Better than expected

It would be hard to find a better setting than this cabin on the water’s edge. Every view is better than you imagined and there’s even an upper deck to see the stars. The cabin was clean and well prepared for our stay and the beds were extremely comfortable. My son and his friends didn’t want to leave which says it all.

Perfect, again!

Friends and I stayed here last year, it was awesome! And just as great this year! Location is secluded, yet close to town. Spent the mornings on the deck overlooking the lake, the birdwatching was amazing, our bird app, Merlin, identified over 31 different birds. The whistling ducks were seen many times. The house has everything you could need! Highly recommend!

Family Vacation

If you’re looking for a family vacation rental, this is the place. There are plenty things to do on the property, including fishing, outdoor games, barbecue, out door fire pit, picnics or just going on a nature walk. We took full advantage of everything the property has to offer. Looking forward to booking our next vacation day.

Fishing heaven!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this charming cabin over Spring Break with 3 boys under the age of 10! The comfort and amenities exceeded our expectations, making it the perfect getaway. One of the highlights of our trip was the incredible fishing experience right off the cabin deck. The proximity to the water allowed us to cast our lines just steps from the front door, and we were thrilled to catch some nice-sized largemouth bass without having to venture far. The peaceful and picturesque setting added to the overall enjoyment, creating unforgettable memories. Thank you for providing such a wonderful escape—we can't wait to return!

It was a true “Glamping” adventure

The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. Everything was ready for us when we arrived, including fishing poles. Once we got there all was fine. However The sign was so small we didn’t see it and there were branches overhanging the small driveway. We ended up at the next campsite and they told us how to get to ours.

Vacation in Eustace

We had a very enjoyable and relaxing time and appreciate that we were able to bring our dogs with us. It was so much fun seeing their reactions to the woods and ponds while hiking around with them. Fishing right off the deck to the cabin was great for my wife with her limited mobility and we could have caught as many as we wanted. It is a beautiful property which I have visited before and will visit again in the future

This cabin was so nice, peaceful and stocked with everything you will need...my son loved the jon boat and fishing off the pier right outside our door..he caught a few good size catfish and bass..Thank you Russ for a relaxing weekend..we will be back.

Love the cabin.

Hey Russ, Thanks for letting my wife and I stay at the cabin this weekend. We had a wonderful time as always and will be back. Only note just for info not complaining as we had the upstairs. I guess due to the power outage maybe the doors or windows were opened. There was an abundance of flies downstairs and just wanted to share as a heads up. We shifted to upstairs and were perfectly fine just wanted you to know I had the house secure and I guess those little pest got in before our arrival.

Exactly what we needed!

Country setting just outside of town. Girls weekend to attend Trade Days and it was exactly what we wanted! Morning coffee on the deck overlooking the small lake, games inside during a storm, it was great! Rebooked for next year!
