“The room was good and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was good too. The only negative is that check out is at 10:30, and they wanted 20 pounds to extend it to 12.”

“Fabulous stay. Staff were so helpful, shepherds hut was gorgeous and the setting was just so peaceful! This will most definitely be the first place I book when travelling to this area again!”

“Typical mid-range, rural conference hotel. Archaic procedures that required you to head to the reception every single time that you wanted to use fitness facilities or pool. Correct, if not very friendly service. Overpriced, but decent restaurant (besides the pub five minutes walk away, the only dining option around here). Hotel had just reopened after holidays so Wi-Fi wasn't functioning for the first 24 hours. Blimey.”

“Always a pleasure to stay at Sunley: modern and clean for a correct price. It was more than a year ago since my last stay and I noticed little things in the room started to show some wear and tear. I suggest this get tackled before it’s too late and goes downhill. It’s little thinks like a shower door that doesn’t close perfectly or a noisy bathroom fan. Nothing major, but better to deal with it before standards slip.”

“The male (of a certain race) that checked us in looked right past me and greeted my husband when I walked thru the door first and would only deal with him. Even after my husband said I drove and I would fill in the vehicle info, he still asked him to enter the info and would only give him the keys. I felt like I wasn't there!
