Awesome getaway!

This is a great place for families to get away in the mountains. The home is very secluded in the woods but you aren't too far from civilization either. The roads are a bit treacherous if you don't have 4WD (in the summer), but overall it's a beautiful, well-equipped home in a great setting.

Beautiful home/great stay

We climbed Mount Sherman and decided to stay at a VRBO to acclimate before our climb and this was the perfect place. It was a beautiful home, well equipped, and we all enjoyed our stay.

Mountain vacation

This is a beautiful, immaculate property with many amenities that went above and beyond the expected. Very comfortable and relaxing. Beautifully decorated, everything looked brand new. Beware of altitude sickness. It’s a real thing! We weren’t prepared. Also the gravel mountain roads are rough. We blew a tire.

Perfect stay

House was beautiful and perfect for us. Loved being out in the wilderness with accessibility to fishing and skiing. Long road in didn’t scare us and it was manageable with a 4wd and the moose in scenery. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Mountain House

Nice log mountain house. Kids loved the video game in the basement and the hot tub. Kitchen was well stocked and the house was clean. There was only a small amount of snow when we were there, but the driveway could be tough later in the winter. We did have trouble with the heat in the house going out our last day. We used space heaters and didnt have hot water. The manger worked on getting it repaired and worked with us for our troubles to make it up.

5 stars might not be enough!

My family and I spent a week in this VRBO as a quick relax and escape from the TX heat. We rent houses 4-5x a year. I would be hard pressed to find a rental that matched the description, was impeccably clean , thoughtfully stocked all for your comfort. The house is so homey and relaxing. We absolutely loved this house. The property managers were great and easy to deal with.

Beautiful views!!

Great place for the family to get together. Definitely need the 4x4, don't take the mountain lightly lol. But our suv did great with AS tires. Hot tub was huge and perfect for the cold weather. Would definitely come back!

Wonderful Property

We spent Thanksgiving Holiday at this beautiful Mountain Gem cabin. It was a lovely home nestled high in the rockies. Our family enjoyed the views and snow, the cozy fireplace and a private room for each family member! Very spacious and had everything you need for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend this cabin if you're looking for a beautiful mountain experience. Our family had a great time.

Fantastic stay - highly recommend

Words cannot do this property and management company justice. So much more than is listed and every detail is thought through. Just book this and you'll be happy. It is on an unpaved road and at altitude, but the property and surroundings cannot be beat if you are looking for some peace and nature (with internet, grill, hottub, etc)

We had an excellent family vacation. The house accommodated all 10 of us very nicely. The house looked exactly like the pictures depicted and was in a lovely setting. The hiking nearby was wonderful. We hiked Pika Trail and Pennsylvania Mountain as well. The hot tub was perfect after a day of hiking!

Perfection

This is a beautiful property. Pictures don’t do it justice. Tina had taken care of everything. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you will need. I usually miss good coffee when I stay at VRBOs but this home had the best coffee and several ways of making it, a French press, drip coffee and Keureg. The beds are extremely comfortable. The bedsheets were like a five star resort. The bathrooms are well designed and have room for all your things. The towels are plush. There was plenty of room for our family to relax and enjoy. We truly enjoyed staying here and will be back. Thank you so much.

Beautiful place

It was beautiful. We did have a issue with the coldness of the fridge but the hosts were very attentive and fixed it quickly. Only downfall (which we should have better prepared for) was the elevation. Two families stayed one from Denver Metro and one from Chicago. The Denver family acclimated in the first day and a half, but the Chicago family took longer. Just be aware.

June in the Colorado Mountains

Super nice accommodations, it top end for our family. Gorgeous rooms, appliances, just alot of really nice things. Made the stay just that more relaxing. The scenery was magnificent. The host was very helpful step by step in getting there and departing. What more could you ask for. Sad it is now over, making memories. Thanks for the great stay.

Exquisite modern getaway

The cabin itself was beautiful! Everything we needed was provided on site, easy check-in/out, and great responsive hosts. My daughters, 7 and 3, enjoyed exploring and loved seeing the bear that lived on the stair railing. They had a high chair, pak n play, and kids plates and cups. The only thing missing for littles was a bathtub, but all worked out well! It was a lovely experience and we’d recommend it to anyone!
