“We had a wonderful stay at Sinclairs Country Retreat. The private rooms are very comfortable, and we were lucky to have a lovely terrace overlooking the garden, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The owners were kind and friendly. Breakfast was very good overall; in my opinion, it could be improved with a bit more fresh fruit and some savory options (such as eggs and ham). Overall, the price-quality ratio is excellent, and we would definitely recommend staying here.”

“Chose to stay here for a birthday getaway for myself from the city. The place was great. Clean, comfortable, nice, quiet and peaceful. You can roam the property and collect some eggs from the chickens if you wish. Breakfast was provided for the first day. The owner, Elizabeth, did check in as there was a big storm, to make sure i was comfortable and warm enough, which was a nice thought. Definitely would come and stay again.”

“Parked right outside the room. Room, bathroom and bed was clean and comfortable. Kitchenette has toaster kettle and microwave cutlery and crockery and fridge. Communal bbq area had stoves and bbq to use. We brought our our own camp kitchen gear and cleaning supplies so it was all we needed to keep our family well fed after lovely days out walking and beaching. Bring eye mask as the carpark lights are quite bright and it comes through the room windows which doesn’t have block out curtains. ”

“It’s a nice property with restaurant/bar. We were a group of four adults. Our room was spacious, however the TV was missing from the wall in the bedroom, the fridge was broken and there were plates/glasses etc for only three people when we booked for four. There was plenty of undercover security parking and the staff were friendly.”

“Loved the ambience of this house filled with so many period features. Even better were our hosts David and Lindy who went out of their way to obtain help for me when I fell ill during the night and required hospitalization. The following day, David drove my partner to the hospital to pick me up. A stay at The Laurels is like visiting with old friends, sitting in the living room with other guests of an evening with a glass of wine and a selection of snacks. Breakfast could not have been better....
