Absolutely perfect stay overall. We had two families (4 adults and 5 kids) and it was the perfect size. The house and setting are all as advertised in the listing. The view and the steps down to the beach and water are the highlight. We were there on a windy week so the kids had good sized waves to boogie board on. We spent time everyday on our private beach. The kids built sand castles and the dads got some beach workouts in in the mornings.As for the vacation rental basics: the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, the house was clean, all appliances/electronics worked, wifi reliable, and the check-in/-out process were seamless.The welcome letter provided immediately after booking was very helpful and provide good recommendations. Shanell helped with pre-ordered groceries that were there when we arrived. We booked Chef Joe for a great dinner on our first night. We had Island Wellness come to the house for a private yoga session on the back deck. We booked an afternoon boat charter with Island Boy. We also had a boat rented on another day through Minn's but we had to cancel due to the choppy conditions. All of this made for a wonderful vacation.The island itself is quiet, untouched, safe, and incredibly beautiful. The restaurants are all informal but serve delicious food. The locals were all very friendly.We would come back and stay at Indigo House.

We had an amazing vacation stay at Indigo House.The house was clean, comfortable, and almost exactly as described—Sliding wall of doors did not open fully as pictured. A couple of support posts have been installed that interfere with opening the doors.The house was well-equipped with most everything we needed. Frequent power outages without a working generator did put a damper on things though.The location was perfect and made getting around easy. The host was friendly and responsive, Overall, we truly enjoyed our time at Indigo House.

This was our family trip for my father-in-law‘s 70th birthday and it did not disappoint. The house is in a perfect location with a beautiful views that you’ll get nowhere else. With access to the peace and plenty I can’t imagine it being better. We were there mid July and had beach access the whole time. And our favorite part was the patio at the beachfront. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful Stay – Nearly Perfect!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this property. It was cozy, clean, and incredibly private—just what our family needed. The house was spacious and well-equipped, making it perfect for a large family gathering. We especially loved relaxing in the pool after long beach days and watching the sunrise from the deck—truly unforgettable moments.Shanell, the property manager, was amazing. She was very responsive and helpful, offering us great local beach spots and restaurant recommendations that really enhanced our trip.The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is due to the beach access. One of the main draws for us was having a beach at the property, and while the listing showed a sandy shoreline, we were disappointed to find that the beach had significantly eroded. What used to be sand is now mostly large rocks, and the stairs down to the beach now end with a five-foot drop. Just a heads-up for those expecting beachfront access—it’s not as pictured.That said, I still highly recommend this property. It was beautifully maintained, incredibly comfortable, and full of charm. Aside from a crab or two in the bedroom (hey, it’s the Bahamas!), everything was top-notch. A true five-star home—just missing the beach.

Beautiful Home and Views

Our group of 8 adults and 1 teenager fit in this house comfortably. The house was clean and fully stocked with appliances. The house has amazing views. We all enjoyed our week of fun in the sun there.

Beautiful Home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Indigo House! It was clean, very well equipped, and worked perfectly for our family of 8. Having four nice bedrooms, all with incredible views and walkout patios, was so nice. Also plenty of bathrooms for everyone. The (practically private) beach was breathtaking, and we enjoyed dipping in the clean pool as well. There were plenty of towels and beach/pool equipment (snorkels, boogey boards, etc.). The mid-week cleaning was much appreciated. The only thing to keep in mind is that the main grocery store is about a 25-minute drive away, and it’s small and very expensive by U.S. standards. There’s a small convenience store a short walk from the house that you can use for fill-in trips (not fresh ingredients). The property manager gave us recommendations and was very responsive. Overall, I highly recommend this property!

Farmers Hill Heaven.

We stayed at Indigo House for the first week of February and it was absolute Heaven!!!! From the views, to the pool to the total privacy!! It was so romantic for the two of us. Shanell was a total gem!! Got us hooked up with some great massage therapist s Everything was perfect. We will definitely return!! Cheers!!

Dream vacation

Indigo House is one of Exuma's best vacation rentals! This is our fourth stay on Exuma in four different rental homes. Indigo House far surpasses the other homes we've rented.Kitchen: well stocked, clean, with everything you need to cook. Bathrooms: updated tile, clean, great water pressure, plenty of hot water, towels are hotel quality.Bedrooms: beds are clean and comfy. Bedding is hotel quality. Nice decor and spacious.Gathering space: huge, comfy, tv works great, lots of seating and the BEST view!Pool: heated as promised, and clean.Beach: SHOWSTOPPER! We swam in the water every day. The softness of the sand is indescribable. Walkway to the beach was sturdy and lighted at night.Check in/check out: Shanell was super accommodating and even escorted us from the airport to the house. She let us know when the pool crew were coming and made our stay very smooth. Misc: lots of snorkel equipment, the grill was clean and worked great (we grilled lobster and steaks!), sturdy outdoor seating in great shape. Overall: Absolutely no problems or concerns with this house. It was the perfect getaway!

Exceptional!

Great house on a beautiful secluded beach. Wonderful layout and comfortably accommodated our large group ranging from 7 month old to grandparents. Loved the open kitchen/dining/living room that open straight onto the patio/pool. Our kids spent hours everyday in the heated pool. Kitchen and linens are well stocked. Shanell is fantastic and is prompt to respond. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back. Thank you so much for a wonderful family vacation!

This is the ONE!!

This location was beautiful, nicely decorated, and had an amazing view! I felt it was centrally located to all of our excursions and only a short 20-40 min drive to any location you wanted. We would definitely stay here again! Very big perk to stay at the Indigo and get access to peace and plenty. Thank you!!

Indigo House Family Trip

We were a family of 8, from grandparents to age 5, and we were delighted with Indigo House. The house had everything we needed and everything was in good working order. Great pool, great oceanfront, and great kitchen. Loved the free transport to Stocking Island as well. Property manager was helpful with anything we needed. We will be back!

Vacation of a lifetime!

This was a beautiful home with an open floor plan that accommodated the 11 of us very comfortably. The view was remarkable and the heated pool and deck area were a big hit with the kids. Although the use of the beach was limited, the breathtaking views and breeze from the ocean made up for it. We had plenty of swimming and snorkeling time on our two boat excursions with Awesome Al’s water sports. We would return in a heartbeat!
