“Nice to be right on the river and basically right in Ancient town. Unfortunately my room didn’t have much of a view. There was no daily room cleaning or additional water/tea. Breakfast was traditional.”

Provided assistance with transportation to and from train station. Had welcome drink and snacks for us. Room was spotless and very comfortable, location was awesome as well. However, I did find the cleanliness to be an issue. There was lint in the room, the shower was clogged, the door and bathroom had no privacy between them. They didn't provide hand soap, and we left the cups dirty and didn't change them. In short, there was areas to improve during our stay, but I'd say the service was 10/10!”

Our son forgot his backpack in the train station and the manager was so helpful with all the calls. And after police helped us find. We are in love with China. ”

“Large modern room with comfortable bed and separate bathtub & shower. Quiet location. Staff do not speak English, which is typical even for Western branded hotels in China. My room smelled a bit like sulfur, strongest near the toilet, but common areas did not. Air conditioner did not work. When reported to front desk, the complaint was met with a shrug. A bit of a walk from the historic area, but a gated walkway serves as a shortcut. ”

“Terrible!!! The only good thing about this place is the location and the view but the bed is very uncomfortable, the room seems to be falling apart, there were no towels and the bathroom was so tiny and in bad conditions. The staff was helpful.”

“First off, the address is wrong. It directs you to JOMO hotel in another town that is not Fenghuang. We got in late at night and had to spend an hour sorting this out with our Taxi driver’s help. The hotel is right next to a nightclub so the music is blasting in your room. Don’t expect to get any sleep because it’s so loud that it almost feels like you are sleeping in a nightclub. This is not a 3.5 star hotel. I’m not sure how it got this rating. This definitely feels like a 1 star motel....
