    BRAND NEW LAKE ACCESS!

    Sunset Bluff is a cute, dog-friendly cottage in the woods with a large backyard overloooking Lake Michigan. Enjoy the sunsets, summer meals outside on the deck, laughs by the fire pit, and a short drive to local beaches.

    INSIDE THE HOME
    Three bedrooms with sleeping for six as well as sleeping for two in the cozy 3-season sunroom. Plenty of space for your family and friends to gather. Two full bathrooms offer plenty of room for everyone. Galley kitchen has all the amenities you'll need to enjoy cooking meals, and the dining room table seats 6, with an additional small table for 2, or eat outside!

Beach and lake front cottage!

We stayed the week. The house has a great location. A short drive to Saugatauk, Holland, and South Haven. The house was clean and well maintained. We saw deer and turkey. The private Beach with lake access was perfect for the family.

Comfortable stay, plenty of couches all in good condition. Took several strolls on the beach as their is easy access. Would gladly stay again.

What a perfect place for a relaxing Lake Michigan vacation! The house was clean and had most everything we needed. There are 2 grills, gas & charcoal. Plenty of wood for the fire pit. There are metal stairs to get down to the private beach. Lake Michigan was beautiful. Clean and cool. The only things we needed was food, coffee, drinks, Bic lighter. Ate at The What Not Inn. Visited the Gilmore Car Museum, The Air Zoo, Saugatuck, apple orchards, wineries. We would definitely stay here again!

Cozy lake house

Great spot to relax with some friends and take in a great sunset. The house was stocked with everything we needed and check in and out was a breeze.

Secluded beach getaway

This was perfect for my wife and my two medium sized dogs. About 3/4 a mile off the interstate, tucked back in the woods right off the beach. The property was quiet and peaceful. We could watch the sunset and storms roll in over the beach from our window. The house was perfect, but we spent most of our time strolling the beach or swimming, and visiting the small towns minutes away. I would book this 100 more times.

Fall at the Lake

We loved the property and the fall colors were gorgeous. We loved sitting in the yard facing the lake. Interior space is large and beds were comfortable. We’d like to visit again in May!

This property is amazing! Clean and well maintained. Sunset Bluff is perfectly positioned in the middle of Saugatuck and South Haven. Our family loved our time in Michigan!

Beautiful location

House was perfect for family of five . Cozy - nice kitchen and beautiful views of sunset . Address is not accurate in check in instructions- especially confusing when arriving at night .

Delightful and unpretenious

A very clean a comfortable small house with beautiful yard and bluff overlook. Amazing sunsets. No beach access. The woods are thick, shady and cool. Dark on cloudy days, so comfortable when hot and sunny. Great HVAC and hot water. Awful coffee maker.

Great girls’ trip!

Sunset Bluff was a wonderful setting for an annual girls’ trip. The home was clean and comfortable for our group of 5. The home is set back from the road and accessed by a long tree-lined driveway. Though there are houses on each side, it feels very private due to the wooded setting. We enjoyed sitting by the bluff at the end of the and watching the beautiful sunsets and listening to the waves. It is a great location-close to Saugatuck and Oval Beach. Nearby small Douglas Beach is nice but parking limited and many stairs if you have someone with mobility issues.

Sunset Bluff Delivered

The viewing spot for sunsets delivered!The was gorgeous, property is large and tree lined (they kept the house cool)and looks out on Lake Michigan. The chairs we around the fire pit and more seating for lake viewing. It is close to Douglas and Saugatuck but also didn’t have to go anywhere. The house is equipped with everything for family time lots of seating, games etc. If there was one drawback it is the shore erosion and lack of steps to beach, though beach is less than a mile away.

Beautiful sunsets

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The house was spacious and comfy and no complaints on the accommodations. It was definitely disappointing to not have beach access because all the surrounding houses do. And the nearby beaches are nice but the parking fills up quickly so be sure to get there early. We did know ahead of time that the beach access was not working so it wasn’t a surprise. But we were still jealous of the nearby homes. Overall we would definitely return to this beautiful location! The fire pit was the highlight and we used it every night. An ideal family spot!

Saugatuck

Property wasn’t very clean, cobwebs in the house, coffee still in the carafe, coffee grounds in the basket. The house had a very musky smell. We really expected a better house for the money. The owners should put some TLC into their property. One upside is the beautiful lake view.

Overpriced for the experience

Overall, our stay at this location was average. While the view of the lake was gorgeous, we overpaid based on the overall experience. The house is outdated and needs remodeling. The walls of the bedroom are paper thin. There was an odor on some of the furniture. The property owners called a maintenance guy during our stay to fix the garbage disposal which could have waited until we checked out. One of the two bathrooms was connected to the master bedroom which was not mentioned in the listing. It would be good if the property owners built stairs to the private beach on the property so that we did not have to drive a mile to get to the beach.

Home is in an amazing location!

I never received the text stating that rental was ready to have number to text. Information on the fridge was inaccurate for WiFi and this was necessary for work. Luckily found the correct username/password on google. Kitchen and living were amazing we only used two bedrooms but they were roomy with comfortable mattresses. The bathrooms were horrible…the hall bath had a wrench attached to the cold water knob. The main bedroom shower was hard to regulate. Property definitely needs more TLC but the views were great…would’ve loved stairs to the shore. Great privacy.
