“I realize this is a cabin in the woods and things happen. Like the ants in the kitchen and equipment failure (like the microwave that sparked if you tried to use it). But the property itself lacked care: rotted wood on porch unkempt landscaping, broken slat in window blind. I did appreciate the washer and dryer after five days there, though. Tyler was prompt in responding to my issues but there was little he could do other than alert his staff. ”

However, one bedroom is the living room and another is the loft. It was difficult not having private spaces with doors for the children in those 2 rooms.”

“The area was beautiful. Pleasant area, some road noise do to main road leads to lake. But, was no problem for us. There is a business next door. Again, no problem for us as it was a holiday weekend and they were not open. There is carpet throughout the cabin in most areas..was not an issue for us but may be for others with dogs. The fenced back yard was great and the wild life visitors were enjoyed. We will be back for sure”

“The song Country Road is the perfect backdrop while driving down the scenic route to Boulder Trail Getaway. The house is wayyyy back off the main road but the tranquility of the deep woods is incredible. The house is very comfortable and (5) women had plenty of room to move around. The hot tub and great fire pit kept everyone entertained. The kitchen was well supplied with pots/pans and small appliances that made making meals easy. Nice gas grill too! Great vacation home.”

“We stay in the area regularly to visit family and we would definitely stay in this house again. The location was convenient for our needs. There were plenty of things to do at the house to keep everyone happy, even in January! One thing to note since I didn’t notice when booking, there aren’t tv’s in the bedrooms. The projector and couch in the basement was the preferred hangout space for our teens.”
