    The Space:

    Nestled within a half-mile stroll from the heart of Ferndale, this lovely one-bedroom home offers a tranquil escape close to the Pacific. The Pool House is a welcome retreat - a sunlit interior presents an inviting living area with a queen murphy bed and flatscreen TV. A pool house boasts a private indoor swimming pool to enjoy all year long! The full kitchen is equipped with everything you need to create your favorite meals. When it’s time to rest, the king bed in the bedroom has you covered. When you want to hit the ocean, Centerville Beach County Park is only 5 miles away! Added perks of this family-friendly vacation rental include free WiFi, a gas grill, and partial air-conditioning.



    For pool heat, please note that the pool can get warm in a matter of a few hours and can be added at anytime for 80USD/night.



    THINGS TO KNOW

    There is parking for two cars in the driveway. Please only park on the white gravel on left side of garage door. Enter through the white picket gate and go to the back for entry.

    Streaming with own accounts available.

    A queen Murphy bed in the living area adds an extra sleeping option.

    Please note that the homeowner lives in the detached main house.

Well-stocked kitchen and the pool was a great bonus after a day of hiking! Our kids enjoyed the pool (and Murphy bed). I had coffee every morning out back while watching deer and neighboring goats grazing. This rental was the highlight of our 8-day trip to Northern California.

The Pool House exceeded our expectations and was even more beautifully designed than anticipated. The view was pleasant, with deer and birds frequently visiting the adjoining yard. The weather was mostly cool and cloudy, with occasional sunshine in the late afternoon. The interior was tastefully decorated, clean, and orderly, and the overall design was both attractive and practical. The sinks were taller than average, and the walk-in shower was spacious, functional, and thoughtfully designed. All listed amenities were provided, including Wi-Fi, games, and a wide selection of streaming platforms. The pool was clean, comfortably heated, and available for use whenever we wished. The setting was exceptionally quiet, and a convenient small parking space was located just outside the gate. Ferndale is a quiet, quaint town that offers an ideal setting for a leisurely stay.

The pool house is very nice , quite spacious and roomy , and very clean ! We stayed to celebrate my Birthday. It truly was the perfect spot to just unwind and enjoy!

Great quiet spot with nice amenities. Everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Loved the bed & simple relaxing decor. The pool was great—all to ourselves. Within easy walking distance to town, park, market.

Rural Feel with Nice Pool!

Great poolhouse with modern feel in a rural setting. Pool was nice and refreshing and felt very private. Very clean with nice amenities. Bedroom and shower were especially charming.

Cozy, light, spacious space!!

We slept very well on the high-quality mattresses and enjoyed the spaciousness. I appreciated all the natural light and views of plants. It was a very serene space and I would recommend it highly!

Amazing find!

House has a very clean and spacious layout with a modern and well stocked kitchen. Has an overall comfy feel, and easy access to downtown Ferndale and the Redwoods. The heated indoor pool was an amazing extra. Would love to spend next trip to the North Coast here.

Lovely place

Clean and comfortable, quiet and surprisingly roomy. Thoughtfully furnished. Pool was a plus for our granddaughter, but the place would have been very nice without.

Family Experience

Fantastic family experience! High class and quality overall cleanliness in totality. From the smallest details the property owners ensure a wonderful rental experience. The pool and home area of the rental are exquisite. We are Humboldt County locals and will definitely be staying here again for a luxurious home away from home vacation.

Home away from home

We enjoyed our stay very much! The property was a little difficult to locate, as it was through a gate at the back of the property. We ended up arriving in the dark at night and found ourselves down the wrong driveway, but once we saw the Vacasa sign, the location became evident.

Beautiful and spacious

The outside is misleading because once you enter the property you are easily impressed. The property is spacious with lots of windows that let in plenty of sunlight. The pool is an unexpected treat. We really enjoyed the pool and walking to town.

Clean, comfortable and very nice

This house is feels bigger then you would expect. Everything is new and up to date. The owners have done a great job decorating and with the layout. Convenient location close to town and shopping. We had them heat the pool, so worth it! The kids swam for hours. Nice little getaway for anytime of year.
