Cabaña de madera roja de 1920 frente al lago conocida como "Camp David"

Al bajar por Sunset View Lane, el tercer camino de entrada te lleva al letrero al final de nuestro carril, ¡para informarte que has llegado a Camp David! Una acogedora cabaña de madera roja que tiene casi 100 años. Según los rumores, la antigua cabaña del complejo fue utilizada por los mafiosos de Chicago. ¡Las firmas en los registros lo mantendrán de pie y leerán quién visitó esta cabaña a lo largo de los años y cuándo lo visitaron! Esta encantadora cabina roja fue construida a partir de troncos que flotan en el lago. Con 100 pies de frente al lago y fabuloso fondo de arena para nadar. La cabina se encuentra a 40 pies del agua y mide 600 pies cuadrados. Completa con una nevera, cocina a gas en la cocina, microondas, sala de estar, baño con ducha, porche de cuatro estaciones con dos camas llenas y altillo para dormir que duerme 2. Aire forzado con calor y ventana A / C. Porche cuenta con troncos originales y techo abovedado. Una vista especial de increíbles puestas de sol, no será olvidada. Lugar para grandes fogatas!

Brought back memories of the cabin my parents had back in the 1900's.Excellent fishing! crappies, blue gills sunnies, pumpkin seeds, large mouth & pike. Would have been a 5 star, had, I not kept hitting my head on that low beam in the kitchen. 1st world problems..highly recommend!

We absolutely adored this little cabin! It was perfect for our end of summer family get-away. The lake is so clean and clear and it was a blast fishing from the dock. Lots to do in neighboring towns (mini golf, little shops, mystery maze) The cabin itself was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend!

This place is slice of heaven. Its so peaceful and the cabin is a perfect place to relax. Wanda is an amazing host and easy to communicate with. The town itself is small but the locals were extremely friendly. We love this place and were sad to leave. We will for sure be back next year.

Lovely view from the cabin & dock

THIS COZY CABIN IS AS CUTE AS THE PICTURES IN THE LISTING! This is a comfortable place for a couple or (small) family. The cabin felt "rustic" but still had a full kitchen, hot water, and some comfy chairs for evening sitting. For us, the best thing was the great view of the lake.Also, good hosts--They responded quickly when we had questions before booking, and gave clear details for finding the property and gaining access. The cabin was well-stocked with thoughtful items.

Amazing time!

The cabin was lovely! We enjoyed the comfy decor and it was stocked with everything we needed and then some! Beautiful weather and Wanda was amazing in communications. Would stay again if in the area!

Vintage cabin on lovely E Fox Lake

Camp David is a small comfy vintage cabin very nicely situated on a beautiful clean lake. It is basically one room with a porch facing the lake that has been transformed into the bedroom. We really enjoyed our time there spending time on the dock, listening to loons, and exploring the lake in our kayaks. We appreciated the comfy furniture and the well-stocked kitchen. The bathroom definitely needs updating but it worked. The grill and outside furniture were in tough shape but we cleaned a couple chairs up and used them. Overall it felt like it was an old cabin with time-worn charm that’s been in a family for many years. Pro tip - watch out if you’re tall, the cabin has a low ceiling!

Short stay getaway

The cabin is nice.. I read some reviews and with the term "rustic" I wasn't sure what to expect but it was nice! The cabin is not brand new but it is fine. The bathroom is small but everything worked and it served its purpose! Everything works as it should and there are enough kitchen supplies and games/etc to keep you busy. The area is nice and quiet and the lake is great. It is shallow by the dock but the water is clear and it is deep enough for adults to swim and float around, kayak, boat etc. It was a nice relaxing few days away and it makes me sad to go back to the daily grind!

Beautiful location, beautiful lake, great rustic cabin and was stocked with just about anything you need other than food. Quiet and peaceful only noise at night were the loons. My buddy and I love to fish and we found both East and West Fox Lake great for fishing, rented a pontoon boat from nearby resort in Emily who delivered it to our lake. Neighbors were super friendly and nice. Would definitely stay here again.

It is an old building Ava you have to watch out for the low log in the middle of the structure if your taller than 5’10”! It has lots of charm and the neighbors were so so nice!

Unique cabin

The cabin is so cozy and just our style. Quiet neighborhood with a beautiful lake. It was windy the days we were there we weren’t able to grill or use the fire pit. We sat on the dock with our coffee and just enjoyed the beautiful scenery. We ate at the Wharf for dinner and the next day went to Nisswa for shopping and lunch. Can’t wait to go back!!
