This lake was never on the itinerary. We meant to hike through the traverse but did some off-trail hiking on the way up, wore ourselves out, and opted to basecamp at mint hut instead. So with our extra time we wandered up beyond Jewel lake and were rewarded with this gorgeous vista all to ourselves for hours. Sometimes a change in plans results in magic. #adventure

Jeremy was a very communitive host. The house was clean and well stocked. The house was very private and secluded but close to town. Loved the hot tub and game room.
