We enjoyed the expansive patio, and my boys enjoyed throwing football on the lawn. My kids enjoyed the pool in the evenings. The beach is incredible, and we loved how quiet and uncrowded it was in front of Villa Renaissance, especially compared to how crowded it was in front of some of the larger resorts a few doors down. Location is amazing, very quiet. No one else on the beach other than guests of the resort. A bit of a drive out of town, but this was a plus for us. No noise from dog/chickens at night.
