My husband and I rented this house for almost 3 weeks in June.There were quite a few issues on arrival, but the manager, Melissa was responsive, which is a big plus, and things eventually fell into place. This house has some great attributes and a few downsides.The area is quiet and convenient to the highway, and the mall. There’s a public golf course close by with a great restaurant. Other restaurants arealso nearby, There’s a nice walk-around lake with wild life just a couple of hundred yards away.The game room is large, bright and airy.The kitchen is well-lit and well stocked.
There’s a private outdoor seating area that’s really nice, though outside maintenance could be better.The master bedroom and bath are really large, but the upstairs tends to be warm, even with the air-con working. Happily, cool nights.The other two bedrooms share a small bath, so IMHO the house is best for 2-6 people.The downsides: the living room and dining room are quite dark, with insufficient lighting — the photos make it seem MUCH brighter.than it is All the bedrooms are upstairs, and the stairs are steep.The TV does not have cable, so no ABC, NBC, etc. But has paramount plus. Best to bring your own streaming.There were no suitcase stands, nor a Dustbuster.Some of the kitchen stuff, like the cutting boards, the small frypan, the salt shaker are ready to be replaced.It would have been a plus to have a write-up about what to know about the house and what to do in the area,
