Great location
Overall, this was a great and affordable stay in Florence. The location is great and it’s very close to the Duomo, Mercato Centrale, and the leather markets. The space was honestly pretty big for it being a studio apartment. It was also a plus that there was an elevator and in-unit AC (although one of the units was a bit finnicky at times). Communication with the property management team was also great when needed.
While we did enjoy our stay, there were a few things worth noting for future travelers:
1. I’m not sure if the next door neighbors are temporary renters or live there long term, but they were very loud and we could hear them upwards of 2am.
2. You will be required to arrange a check-in time where you will need to meet a member of their team. Our original check in instructions were unclear and we had to call a number 30 minutes prior to our arrival to arrange a pick up for the key.
3. The check out process was easy, but you will be required to take out the trash. It did not seem like the building had its own waste bins and the signage in the apartment advised us to throw our trash near the Medici Chapel which was a bit odd/inconvient. It would have been helpful to have more clear instructions on the checkout process without having to ask the host directly.
