EXCLUSIVA SUITE con Amazing Terrace en el corazón de Florencia Ponte Vecchio

En el primer piso de un edificio histórico nace Casa Dante, donde el sueño de unas vacaciones exclusivas con una vista impresionante se convierte en realidad. El apartamento cuenta con una gran sala de estar desde donde se puede acceder tanto a la cocina como a la terraza: muebles preciosos, alfombras persas originales hacen de esta estructura un lugar encantador y atemporal. Desde la maravillosa terraza, se llega al pequeño y bien cuidado jardín de invierno: un lugar encantado que hará que su estancia sea exclusiva.
El edificio donde se encuentra Casa Dante, que toma su nombre de la ladera ("costa" en la tradición florentina) que lleva el nombre de San Giorgio, es solo Oltrarno, a 30 metros del Ponte Vecchio ya solo 10 minutos a pie de la estación de Santa Maria Novella. La historia de la estructura se pierde en el tiempo, conservando solo algunas huellas indiscutibles de su pasado: entre ellas, la inscripción de mármol del siglo XVIII en la que se atestigua el uso del edificio como un oratorio de Santa María Magdalena en los siglos anteriores.
La estructura también ha sido protagonista de famosas películas de cine internacional.
El distrito de Costa San Giorgio se encuentra justo en Oltrarno, rodeado de algunos de los lugares más espectaculares de toda la ciudad. Ponte Vecchio, el puente simbólico de la ciudad, fue el único salvado al final de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Ofrece una vista encantadora del río y casas en las tiendas características con vistas a la calle y la habitación trasera que consiste en un voladizo ("sporto") directamente en el río, algunos de los joyeros más famosos del mundo. Our stay in Florence didn’t go quite as planned due to unexpected circumstances — my mother had a heart attack during our trip, and we had to extend our time in Rome. As a result, we only arrived for the final night of our three-night booking. The host was very responsive and understanding when I explained the situation. Still, unfortunately, given the timing of our change, we weren’t able to receive a refund for the missed nights. The apartment itself was lovely — perfect for two people traveling together, with two separate bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The first bedroom on the main level was ideal for my mom since she didn’t have to climb stairs, while the second bedroom was up two flights. The apartment is located up several flights of outside stairs, so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues. Once at the apartment there is a small elevator for our luggage. There’s no on-site parking, but we used the recommended garage nearby and made the short walk over the cobblestone streets with our luggage. When we finally settled in, the apartment felt cozy and comfortable despite being a bit chilly at first. The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning, and we enjoyed having coffee there the next morning before heading out. Overall, this apartment offers great communication, beautiful views, and a spacious layout — just be prepared for stairs and limited parking. I wish we could have spent all three nights here, as I’m sure we would have appreciated it even more.

A unique flat located near the Ponte Vecchio, with a lovely, glass enclosed outdoor seating area. Clean, roomy, with a tiny kitchen and a washing machine located outside on the patio. Apartment is accessible by stairs or small elevator. Situated close to shopping and good restaurants.

This was a great stop on our 10 day stay in Italy. We stayed 2 nights. This was our only VRBO stay. Right next to the Arno River and Ponte Vecchio. Beautiful views and looks just like the listing. It’s quiet. Serena is easy to work with on details. Things to keep in mind if you have a car you will need to pay 65 euro / night. There is a garage just below the street on which you stay. Getting to the apartment is multiple steep steps, a steep hill and then up a flight of stairs. There was a lift but we didn’t use it. We would stay again.

Beautiful place in a beautiful city.

This apartment could not have been better for myself, husband, son and DIL.... along with 2 teen medics and nephew. It was spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable sleeping. We world highly suggest you try this apartment.

Great apartment near city center

We really enjoyed the stay. Property is beautiful and clean with a seperate sunroom on the veranda which is georgeous when the Tuscan sun rises in the morning. We stayed 2 days and everything was within 15 min walking distance. Ponte Vecchio was 5 min walk. Up a steep hill or several steps and a tiny elevator are the only drawbacks. Great stay!

Serena was a wonderful host! You can't beat the price given the location, as we were able to walk everywhere in Florence from there. It is a lovely home- it really is a home that accommodates visitors, not a residence redesigned specifically for Vrbo or Airbnb. Probably want to limit to 4 visitors- we had a group of 6, so 2 of us shared the sofa bed, which was as comfortable as you'd expect a sofa bed to be. And it was a fairly cozy space- plenty of room in the bedrooms, but the common areas were a little tight for 6 (would be plenty spacious for 4). But it didn't matter because the place was so close to everything, we didn't spend a lot of time hanging out there. Serena made sure to provide detailed instructions and all the necessities, plus a welcome care package! And whatever else we needed, there was a grocery store that was a 5-minute walk away. Truly enjoyed this experience.

Perfect location, easy access to grocery market, shopping, coffee/pastry shops as well as restaurants! The elevator was a God send as was a requirement for one of our party of five. We throughly enjoyed the outside breakfast nook/enclosed patio! We took advantage of that daily. Easy walk to the train station, took less than 20 mins. The Ponte Vecchio being basically in your backyard in incredible!! Thank you for sharing your home with us for an incedible vacay. We will be back.

Florence stay

Very nice property right near the Ponte Vecchio. The building had an elevator which was nice to be able to send our luggage up. The rooms were spacious and clean, nice linens were provided. The enclosed terrace room was nice to sit in for morning coffee or a wind down glass of wine. There was a broken window in the terrace room, but it did not affect the use. My only complaint was that the listing says washer and dryer and it was a community based laundry area in the basement that the entire apartment complex had access to. It was hard to find a moment when they weren't in use already. Also, if you have any mobility issues, keep in mind that there are a lot of hills and stairs in the surrounding streets of the apartment.

Amazing Location

The highlight of this apartment is its location. You can walk to everything from it, but it is on a quiet street and you feel like you get a true feel of Florence! We have been to Florence multiple times, and this was by far the best location we have stayed. The inside is spacious and the terrace is great. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
