Florence with view

Property is in a great location with nice amenities. Bathroom is really two and a half rooms which was a bit tight for three couples. The half bath was not in service so it made it a bit inconvenient. Overall staff was responsive to calls so we managed thorough issues. There is also a separate tax charge beyond your payment of $5 per day per person. Not really an issue but when only cash is requested it becomes a bit suspicious. We stayed at other locations in Italy and the tax was also requested. Other venues accepted credit cards. Overall I would visit this property and location again.

Beautiful apartment!

We absolutely loved this apartment! It was very clean and well stocked with all the essentials you need. Marisa the host was amazing. She met us at the apartment when we arrived and went over everything with us. She also gave us many recommendations on great restaurants and shopping places. She was always very responsive when we had any questions. She arranged a cab to take us to the train station so check out was extremely easy. We will definitely stay here again and I highly recommend this wonderful place to stay!!

Almost too perfect!

My husband and 2 friends stayed in this Santa Croce apartment and found it to be one of the best if not the best VRBO experience. The host greeted us and went out of her way to accommodate every question or request. The apartment is a perfect blend of history, art, and modern conveniences. It is in an ideal location. We could walk literally everywhere. Wine out on the tiny rooftop patio with the city bell towers ringing from all directions was heavenly. We would highly recommend you stay here.

Perfect

The Santa Croce apartment was perfect for our family’s stay in Florence and we were so sad to have to leave it. I have been dreaming of spending a month there in the future! First, it was an absolutely beautiful space with incredible views. It was in a wonderful location to walk and access everything all Florence had to offer. When we returned back from sight seeing it was a delight to be in this beautiful, safe space with air conditioning, comfortable beds, a well appointed kitchen (espresso machine AND “milk frother” we drank so much cappuccino!) and comfortable living-room to hang out in. With three bedroom and three bathrooms (two showers) our family of five had plenty of space to spread out. From a safety standpoint there are two locked doors that use key pad for entry, then a key for the unit. The neighborhood seems very safe, but nice piece of mind to have such outstanding safety precautions as well. Also, very convenient was the washer and dryer just outside of the unit. We were able to have clean clothes as we moved on the the next part of our trip. All in all, we couldn’t have imagined a better place to stay in Florence.

This was the most wonderful rental in every sense. The communication and check in process was seamless and welcoming. The home itself is far more beautiful than the pictures can possibly show. Perfect location that put you in walking distance of basically everywhere in Florence. Quiet, comfortable and spacious. This exceeded every expectation. We will be back. Bravo!!!

Had a little trouble checking into the apartment we had to find a local tenant to help us she was very helpful. Somehow we never received powder get in the apartment. Overall our stay was excellent. Wonderful place I would love to rent it again in the future.

Everything about this apartment was perfect...Excellent location, beautifully furnished, well equipped, and extremely comfortable. The most beautiful view and location!

Apartment in located in a gorgeous building at the far end of piazza Santa Croce. The views of the church from the oversized living room windows are breathtaking. Santa Croce is a great neighborhood and within easy walking distance to restaurants, museums, the duomo cathedral, and the oltrarno district. The apartment is on the top floor of the elevator building, and has been elegantly constructed with fine materials. The owner provides hotel quality linens and towels, toiletries, etc and a welcome basket of biscotti and bottled water, which are all a lovely touch. The comfortable en suite master bedroom is located on the lower floor. the 2 bedrooms on the second floor are rather small, the second with a sleep futon type of bed. Probably best for 1 person. We had a wonderful experience, and found the arrival and departure process easy.

Beautiful, but misleading

The location of this property is amazing. It was nice to look out the window and see the Saint Croce Basillica. The decor inside the property is very cute. It also smelled good with the Flor de Acqua in the property. It was very spacious. It was centrally located to the museums in Florence. We did like that we had access to Netflix. On the down side, the property is promoted to have 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms when the reality is there are 2 large rooms, one room with a sofa bed and two bathrooms with a powder room. It was inconvenient for 6 adults. The washer and dryer that was promoted for the property did not work well. We needed to wash our own towels, no extra ones were provided. There were no extra blankets. No pepper, just a big jar of salt. It was lacking in basic necessities for cooking, such as cooking oil. We needed to purchase more toilet paper and soap towards the end of our stay. Overall, we expected the expensive decor to match the amenities in the property, but sadly it did not.

Extremely happy with the quality of the apartment, location and agent.

6 of us stayed in this apartment this past July for 9 nights. Everything is new and well appointed. We really enjoyed having one large area for cocktails, cooking and hanging out. The bathrooms are large and all of the linens were quite nice. The beds are very comfortable, including the futon bed. Returning to the apartment after a day of sight seeing in the heat into the powerful air-condoning was ahhhhhh...amazing. The master bedroom doesn’t cool as much as the rest of the apartment but that has likely been addressed. The view from the living room of Santa Croce lit up at night is beautiful! Nesspresso coffee maker, bonus! If we needed anything, Alberto and Serena were very responsive and easy to communicate with. They gave us many good restaurant, winery, etc. recommendations, and as a somewhat picky Manhattan dweller, that was very much appreciated. The location was great. We could walk to every place we wanted to go, although taxis are very quick and easy to get. We were particularly pleased to have a grocery store around the corner. I rarely write reviews but this stay warranted one.
