One of the best places I’ve ever stayed on the coast
I go to the coast a lot and this has to be one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at. The view is perfect, the apartment is clean, comfortable and has just about everything you’ll need (the beds might be too comfortable tbh). And the owner/manager seems incredibly easy to get a hold of (never needed to though).
The apartment is split-level with bedrooms on one floor and the living on another and the short stairs have some funky angles that could prove a little challenging if you…let’s say, enjoyed your night too much or have severe joint issues. But even then, not too bad especially as there are only like 10 steps.
The only negative has nothing to do with the property itself and something which the owner’s have no control over and that’s parking. Old Town has three hour parking limits on Bay Street and the immediate side streets so if you have more than one car in your party you’ll have to do some creative shuffling and have a little luck on your side. It’s honestly not a deal breaker and not a big deal, but good to know going in if you have an issue with that sort of thing.
Overall an absolute gem of a property in a great locale (the Siuslaw River Bridge is my favorite of the coastal bridges so seeing it every day was a cherry on top of a great stay).
