Excelente ubicación por el precio
Excelente ubicación, no esperes una habitación de lujo, las instalaciones y equipamiento del cuarto son algo anticuados y usados, pero la habitación está amplia y cómoda. El desayuno aceptable. No es un hotel precisamente, es un 4to piso de un edificion con 6 u 8 cuartos, pero las personas te atienden muy bien y muy atentos. Se dificulta encontrar la ubicación, te recomiendo que lo ubiques en el google maps. Importante saber que el horario para el check inn es de 8:00 a 17:00 hrs. Al final si lo recomiendo.

Giorgio notre hote a été d'une disponibilite, d'une gentillesse et d'un humour exceptionnel. Sans oublier Silvia qui nous a indiquer avec bcp d'attention les lieux a voir en priorité. On sent chez eux l'amour de leur ville et le plaisir de la faire decouvrir. La residenza Giotto est on ne peut plus idealement situee pour visiter Florence. Vous etes au centre du centre ville 😁. Bref ne cherchez plus c'est la qu'il faut reserver. Les chambres sont spacieuses avec pas mal de rangements (nous etions 2 femmes lol). La salle de bain avec douche tres fonctionnelle avec 2 serviettes de bain par personne. La residence se trouve au dernier etage d'un tres bel immeuble ancien. Elle est accessible par un ascenceur tres original (je vous laisse la surprise) mais egalement par un escalier de 112 marches 😉. La cerise sur le gateau est la terrasse ou l'on prend le petit dej en surplombant le fameux dome 😍 En bref allez y...........

Couldn't ask for a better location with the Duomo right around the corner and placement in the epicenter of Florence's shopping and restaurants! The rooms are 6 flights up but there is access to a small four person elevator. We appreciated the ease of after-hours access with a key fob. The patio view of the Duomo made breakfast a delight. The lack of access to simple needs like an extra towel or utensils in the evening due to no staff being present was offset by the fabulous location.

The hotel was in a great location. It has only 6 rooms. It was very clean. The bathroom was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. There was a nice continental breakfast with fresh cappuccino made by the staff. There is a very nice rooftop terrace. The staff was absolutely amazing!!! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Unbeatable gem in the shadow of the Duomo
Look no further if you are planning a visit to Florence. Residenza Giotto is steps from the Duomo and major Florence sites. The staff is warm, welcoming and so very helpful with any needs. Enjoy breakfast or an evening beverage on the beautiful terrace, with a panoramic view of the Piazza del Duomo and surrounding Tuscan hills. Truly a unique and special experience!

We loved the location and the friendly staff. Giorgio is an amazing host. Location is 20 meters away from the Duomo. Fourth floor location afforded us a great street view without much noise. Breakfast was delicious and served on the beautiful patio. High speed Internet was a plus.

Dear Mrs. Taniguchi, thank you for your feedback. When you booked you asked to have a late check in out of our reception time. We accepted your request for free and confirmed your late check in after 6pm. We received your last email three days before your arrival confirming your check in at 6pm or later. As you didn't inform us that you changed your travel plan to check in earlier, a member of our staff came back to let you in before 6pm and waited for you untill 8,30pm but you didn't show up nor advise. The deck truly appears as it is shown. The view is even better at night. We were on the deck for breakfast, and we stayed on it until well after midnight one night speaking with four other guests. ALL of the staff were friendly, helpful, and simply great! The place is not the Ritz, but it is unbelievable what you get for the price. We definitely are coming back.

Right at the heart of Duomo. Very convenient
My daughter and I stayed here for two nights and it is not easy to locate the hotel because it is located in the shopping strip area. There is no hotel staff available before 8 and no one available after 5:00. We need to checked out early and did not know what to do so I had to leave a note at a desk. Breakfast is sad and poor. Nothing much offer at this hotel. I probably won’t stay there again. If you only care about the location, then it is perfect for you.

Hard to get in
It’s a clean B&B, in the great location. It’s kept clean, staff is friendly, but when you arrive, it’hard to find. It’s located on the fourth floor of the building, but if you don’t know that, or arriving after five PM on the week days, or after one PM on Sunday, there is no one to let you in. People, who live in the building, are not very helpfull. It took us a vile to find on what flor B&B is located.

Close to points of interest. Friendly staff. It is located four stories up, within another building, just FYI. There is an elevator though, useful for when carting your luggage. Room was clean, if small, but we didn’t spend time there anyway. AC worked well, which is nice for the hot Italian summer.

Fantastic location withing walking distance from everything from sightseeing to shopping to the train station. Very hospitable, warm, welcoming and helpful. We will definitely recommend to friends and family and choose this lodging in the future if we return to Florence.

Great staff but hotel will not make my next trip
Great staff all around, they couldn't be sweeter and helpful. Super noisy neighborhood that's amazing from the terrace at night. Ask for the rooms that face the Duomo or pass. Front entrance door is frustrating and is not always operative. Four keys and an electronic fob to make it to your room. Tiny old slow elevator - somewhat charming. Mold in shower grout, bathroom could use a refreshing, no bathroom niceties like shampoo and blow dryer, beds are Italian hard thin uncomfortable mats but not unexpected. Included breakfast is OK for a fast bite but it is far inferior to the other hotels we stayed in. Overall I would try and find a neighborhood hotel with 24/7 reception that starts at the ground floor instead of the 4th floor.

The breakfast was below average .THe elevator was very strange and seemed to be a little bit scary to ride. The bathroom door was very noisy when open or close with a very loud disturbing sound . The reception desk was only till 5 pm and in case of emergency after 5 pm we had to call the staff cell phone that gives the guests the feeling of being insecure in the place.overall it can't be caled a hotel but more of a room for rent.The employees were friendly.

Perfect central location with serenity and privacy
All the charm of old Florence in the heart of shopping, museums and restaurants. Fantastic view of the duomo from the terrace. Exceptionally friendly and hospitable staff. Very wonderful breakfast. Cozy little place with old world charm in a busy modern Florence. Easy walking access to the train station and all shopping and museums.

The room was comfortable, bathroom adequate and it had a fridge and a view of Via Roma. Would have benefited from a hairdryer and an iron. The location could not have been better!!

The accommodations are literally 150 feet from El Duomo. Very centrally located. The staff was very accommodating. Gave great recommendations for restaurants and sites. The room was extremely clean and neat. The breakfast was full self serve.

This hotel is in a wonderful location- right next to the baptistry and Duomo, near shopping like Gucci and Prada and very convenient to all the museums and sights. The front desk is only manned from 8 to 5 so you are given keys to get in and out of the building. The breakfast was adequate but there weren't a lot of food choices. The staff is very friendly and the room was clean. We heard a lot of street noise late at night if our air conditioning was not on. We wished there would have been better instructions on how to get to the reception area for check-in since of course we didn't have keys yet.

Situation rêvée et personnel très gentil
Hôtel très bien situé. L'hôtel est au 4ème et dernier étage d'un immeuble à l'angle de la rue principale de Florence et de la place du Duomo. Terrasse donnant sur le Duomo. Conseil si vous êtes en voiture : inutile de chercher un parking pas cher à proximité. Il vaut mieux prendre l'option de l'hôtel car elle permet de venir en voiture jusqu'au pied de l'hôtel sans risque d'amende et un voiturier vient la chercher. Le prix est très compétitif. Le personnel est très très accueillant. Chambre silencieuse même si elle donne sur une rue très fréquentée. Attention, les volets en bois sont proches de la rupture. Petit déjeuner minimaliste mais sur la terrasse face au Duomo... jus de fruit correct. Charcuterie et fromage moyens. Salle de bain spacieuse mais eau chaude capricieuse voire absente.

Don't book unless you have a plan B
Nightmare! Had to book another hotel last minute. There was no one there to check us in or greet us. Door was locked and no one answered. No message was left or form of contact, and Hotels.com was not as helpful with getting contact information.

Florence - A real walkable city
Florence is definitely a city for walking. Everything is close-by. Some museums (Uffizi) typically have long lines. For me the Galileo Museum was a must and didn't disappoint! For my wife Art was the focus of her visit. The Academy Museum with the statue of David is another must visit. FOOD, FOOD, FOOD: Try the Central market restaurants on the second floor: Pasta w/truffle, a class a wine, Pistachio Ice Cream and a Cappuccino.

Location, Location, Location!
This small hotel is in the center of Florence, across from the Duomo's Baptistry. On the fourth story of an old building, it is close to all the lively activity in the street. The women who work in the Residenza were wonderful and greatly contribute to the hotel's charm. The rooftop terrace is the hotel's best amenity.

Room with a view
The location is great. Wifi was very good. View of the Duomo excellent. Breakfast was ok. They need sun umbrellas on the breakfast terrace. Otherwise very nice terrace.

A wonderful experience
We loved Residenzia Giotto and had a wonderful stay. Silvia was particularly helpful in the most friendly, charming and gracious way. Our room was very comfortable and had a little balcony with a marvelous view of the cathedral, as did the breakfast terrace (with a very nice breakfast). Residenza Giotto's location at the corner of the cathedral piazza made for a thrilling beginning and ending of each day, and I highly recommend it.

Nice Bed and Breakfast near Piazza del Duomo
This is a wonderful bed and breakfast on the top floor (5th floor) of a building right around the corner from Piazza del Duomo. The room was very clean, simply decorated and comfortable with a view of Florence rooftops and the Duomo. Breakfast was a simple selection of croissants, cake, meats, cheeses, yogurt and expresso/lattes served on an open terrace. The B&B is in a great location within easy walking distance of all the major sights of Florence including The Duomo, art museums, markets, Mercato Centrale, Rialto Bridge and the train station is also an easy walk. The only drawback was finding our way to the check-in desk (on the 5th floor as you walked into the B&B) when we first arrived; as signage was not available and we had to search for the entrance to it. Otherwise it was a wonderful B&B in a fantastic location.

Great hotel close to everything
We boiler the hotel because it was right around the corner of the Duome And it had a terrace AND breakfast. We were not dissapointed. Simple, no luxe except for the service , smiles And info from Barbara, And the sumptuos croissants. Loved it. Old elevator ( we thought it was charming) and European rooms, but it was exactly what we were looking for. recommend
