“My stay at Lakeside Bed and Breakfast was perfect and absolutely delightful! The room was beautiful, comfortable, and spacious. The property is on a lake, surrounded by trees, lovely and peaceful even though it is right on the edge of Florence. Very easy to find. The breakfast was delicious and generous every day. I especially loved the fresh-squeezed orange juice. The hosts were very good at making guests feel welcome and pampered! I could not have asked for anything more.”

“The host was very kind and professional. Made sure everything was good and kept communication with us throughout our visit. This place is very clean and organized and looks even better in person. This has a real man cave cabin feel to it. Everything you need here is provided. Just bring your food and clothes and some wood and you have a weekend you can remember for a long time. It was a huge bonus my uncle lives a few miles down the road and we were able to spend some time with him as well....

“The owner was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating to our family upon our early arrival prior to 3 pm. The room was nostalgic and reminded my husband and me of staying with our grandparents. We loved the VHS tape player with movies to borrow in the lobby. There were plenty of modern amenities like over 100 channels on the TV, and wifi. The beds were more comfortable than the average firm and hard hotel beds. After a long day of exploring we got in late and the lack of blackout curtains...

“Room and hotel were super clean. Great room/bath. My only complaint was check in. Got to the hotel at five o’clock on Friday night and there was no one at the desk. That seemed odd. There was the typical “stepped away “ sign on the counter and a number to call. I called and it rang about 15 times, stopped ringing, then went through the call options and started to ring again. On about the 5th ring the desk clerk finally arrived. The clerk said she was busy and asked for my room number. I told her...
