We had an extremely disappointing stay at this hotel due to serious cleanliness and sanitation concerns. We checked in expecting to relax, but problems began immediately. Upon entering, I observed a large roach near the door. While disinfecting the room, I discovered multiple main no picture, a non-working room phone, and a broken light. When I moved the nightstand to check the outlet, I found rotten food behind it, producing a foul odor the room had not been properly cleaned.
I reported these concerns to the front desk, and although the staff member, Kris, was professional and made an effort to help, the second room we were offered was also unsanitary. It contained a visibly used towel in the bathroom, crumbs inside the sofa bed, and a fitted sheet with what appeared to be a blood stain. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable staying in the hotel. Unfortunately, because the reservation was made through Expedia, I was unable to obtain a refund. The following morning further reinforced my concerns. During breakfast, I witnessed a staff member handle silverware in an unsanitary manner, retrieving utensils without washing her hands and touching the eating surfaces after kneeling on the floor. This occurred in front of multiple families and raised serious food safety concerns. Overall, the repeated cleanliness failures, pest presence, maintenance issues, and lack of basic hygiene standards made this stay unacceptable and deeply uncomfortable for my family.
