“This was our first time in Folly beach & we loved it! The apartment was small but had everything we needed. The AC was cold, the bed was comfortable, & the location was fabulous! Only 2 blocks to the beach & to Center Street! We loved the laid back vibe & will definitely be back! The only negative was the upstairs neighbor was up at 5 am every morning & we could hear them moving around. Other than that, we loved our stay!”

“Very close to beach access and we enjoyed the upstairs deck. Birds chirping and a nice breeze. Easy access to beach chairs and a nice outdoor shower. The kitchen was well stocked and neatly organized The only minor issue was having to bolt out of place at 9 AM. Host very communicative and sent info to help us find things. We would book Zen Deck again. ”

“We had a great vacation staying here! Carl is excellent to work with and has great communication throughout. The place is snug but it was just right for us. It's a short walk to the beach and there's a lot of restaurants, shops and a store nearby. Everything we needed was there and we will definitely book again! Highly recommend this place! “My husband and two children stayed here for a week at the end of May. The weather was perfect and the location of this house was great. It was a very quick walk across the street to the beach. The outdoor shower/hose was great for rinsing sand off when we got back from the beach. They had multiple beach chairs for us to use and 4 large beach towels. It was nice to not have to pack those. “Sunny Side Down checks all the boxes! An extremely clean and comfortable stay in the perfect location. Once in the gate it’s so private and the wall hanging baskets and lighting add such a special touch. It’s a true hidden gem! We plan to stay again, and again!”

“The property is located on Center Street. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Unfortunately it could get quite loud in the evening hours and there was construction going on next door so every morning at 7AM you could hear the very loud noise. That's not the property's fault of course. We bought ear plugs and were able to block out the noise a bit. The apartment was small but it had all amenities you would need for a short beach stay.”

“It was a perfectly lovely stay. Probably less than a 2-minute walk to the beach. Close to everything: groceries, restaurants, shopping etc. Self check-in was fast and simple. The space is thoughtfully stocked and beautifully decorated. It has everything you would find in a long term hotel suite plus more! They even supplied beach towels and chairs, although I brought my own. This is going to be my go-to place to stay when on Folly. What a gem!”

“We absolutely loved our beachfront stay and will return to rent the same property next year. This specific rental was very affordable for the location and amenities. You just can’t beat waking up to a 50 ft walk down to the sand and surf.”

“Enjoyed the stay but need a much better lock on the door. It didn’t always lock and we weren’t sure when it was locked and when it wasn’t. It was a great stay but feeling comfortable with the security of the lock on the door is definitely needed to stay again. Dead bolt option also needs to be provided for the guests since the door operates from a code that other guests have been given. Other than that it was a great stay.”

“The location was perfect! A minute walk from an uncrowded beach could not be beat. The host was kind enough to lend us beach towels for our stay and there were beach chairs available. Since the property is slightly below ground, there was a slight musty smell. Overall it was clean and tidy. The furniture could be improved with a bigger, more comfortable couch.
