“Location was good, being walking distance to One Mile Beach and the sand dunes. There were also a couple of coffee shops within walking distance. The accommodation was not very clean. There was a smell of dog, sticky carpet, stains and lots of dust behind the mattresses and in the toilet area. Price was reasonable but even for an older furnished house the cleanliness issue was not expected.”

“Amazing location - the beach is a hop and skip from the backyard! The place was perfect for me and the kids as it was a simple home and the property manager was so lovely and accommodating! Highly recommended and would stay again hopefully in the summer!”

“Gorgeous home that embraces you with comfort, relaxation and peace! My favourite is lounge surfing around the vast old Aussie Verandah as the sun moves across the sky reading, writing, drawing. Beach and bush walks, our Jack Russels feel at home. Evelyn and Kerry are kindness itself and incredibly helpful with tips on local fare!”

“A lovely home that felt immediately relaxed. We enjoyed the set-up, mood and ease of the home. The back deck with its screened walls was a real treat and became the place we spent all our time in. “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the house was spacious and comfortable. The location was sensational with a very short walk to the incredible beach. If there could have been air con in the other 2 bedrooms and the living area upstairs that would have made it even better (it was very hot during our stay there). We would definitely stay there again.”

“The property was clean, well equipped with LOTS of stuff provided to keep children and dogs entertained. The location is great, being central to both Diamond Beach and Black Head. The owners were very welcoming and honest. Our daughter lost her mobile phone and Dianne went out of her way to ensure it was sent back to us via express post. Fantastic home and well worth the spend. We will be back!”
