“Llegamos de madrugada, y nadie nos esperaba solo un sobre con instrucciones. “We came to Fort Davis for a weekend getaway to visit the area and McDonald Observatory. The property was as described and very comfortable. A broom would have been helpful to sweep up the tracked in dust from the yard. Another helpful thing would be either window shades or darker curtains. “This house is perfectly situated for exploring not just Fort Davis, but all of the surrounding areas. We were able to get to Marfa in 20 minutes, and Balmorhea in 30. It’s walkable to the Main Street/downtown area where you can pop into funky shops and meet the lovely locals. We must have gone to the Stone Village Market at least once a day during our stay for iced coffee, food, and an insanely delicious banana cream pie.We felt at ease in this house, and very much enjoyed all of the thoughtful...
