Upon arrival, we were shocked as to the conditions of the property. House was dirty and smelled of chemicals and mildew. The pictures did not represent the conditions. I reached out the host and they were accommodating and scheduled a cleaning and sent staff with diffuser machine. Even though they responded quick to our concerns, I want future guests to know that there are many improvements that are required to make this property appropriate. There were holes in the walls, needs painting, bathroom fan didn’t work causing mildew, bathroom light replacement, unsafe extension cords, water damage and requires deep cleaning. Too many to list! In addition, once I raised my concerns and complaints, the host asked for a driver’s license and credit card pics and explained that this was a part of the initial booking process. This has never been a requirement in my 15 years of the Vrbo experience.
