    Welcome to Big Blue Beach House a beautiful six-bedroom five bath home that sleeps up to 15 guests. A spacious open floor plan on the ground floor makes it easy to spend quality family time together through cooking in the beautiful fully equipped kitchen with two fridges or having family game night in the living room. Sliders go out to the pool where you can soak up the sun and relax while on vacation. A large outdoor table and Weber gas grill are right there for your dining and culinary pleasures. The main level also includes a king bedroom and two bathrooms. Upstairs 5 bedrooms and 3 baths are well laid out with a family room and deck. The primary bedroom features a king bed with an en suite with walk-in shower. This home also includes beach equipment to use beach chairs, cooler, wagon, and towels for added convenience.     Welcome to Fort Myers Beach! There are multiple state parks nearby that are waiting for your adventures. Jump on the trolley to take you south to the secluded Lover's Key State Park or go north to Bowditch Point Park. The Fish Tale Marina offers boat rentals and dockage for those wanting to get out on the water. Travel around the island in style in a rented Moke or golf cart. Trolley service is also available from Estero Boulevard to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach. Several restaurants, shops, and bars have come back since the hurricane. If a day trip is what you are looking for check out the Key West Express for an unforgettable trip to Key West. Don’t forget to see Sanibel Lighthouse which is less than 15 miles away! Please note that the area is currently rebuilding after Hurricane Ian. Despite the changes, the island continues to get better and better, inviting you to bask in the sun, sand, and amazing sunsets once again. We traveled with our family of five children,7 adults. We had the best time. We were very close to the beach and took advantage of the pool daily. The house was set up perfectly for our group. We loved the house and location.

The home was clean and perfect for our needs. The only issue we had was when we got there the pool had a ton of leaves on the bottom of the pool. But we cleaned it up.

The house was beautiful and worked for our large family gathering. The only cons are the pool cleaners who came as soon as we checked in and super early the day we checked out. The yard is super small for dogs and doesn’t connect to the pool fence. If you stay in the master bedroom the sliding door is the only door to the side yard to let dogs out. However, the location to the beach is amazing and made it all worth it.

The kitchen was a bit disappointing. Not enough plates for a large crowd. Only one kitchen towel. Very limited toilet paper. Not even a full roll in each bathroom. Proximity to beach excellent. Good communication with hosts

Perfect Beach House.

We were here for the Youth Football Allstars Championship game. It slept 12 people perfectly. Great location for us next to the beach! Private and quiet! Thank You host

Perfect place to stay

Sun Castle was the perfect place for our family of 14. It was well equipped and very clean. On a quiet street and 5 min. walking to the beach. The downstairs was perfect for the teenagers leaving the upstairs to the adults. We would definitely do this again.

Great family memories

The Big Blue House is in pristine shape and staff readily responded with concerns about a leaky air conditioner. Very roomy , well equipped kitchen, heated pool, close to the beach, beach chairs and a wagon, close to Publix grocery ,lots of parking and a second staircase so the spiral stairs were not an issue with the younger children. The neighborhood has a long way to go in it's recovery from the hurricane a year and a half ago but the Big Blue House is ready for large groups and the locals were grateful to have us there. A family favorite!

Family beach time

The place was very nice and large enough to accommodate. The A/C systems upstairs stopped operating properly the last night so we had to switch rooms around a bit. All in all was a very nice place and enjoyable stay.

Great stay!

This property met our needs exactly. The pool was great, the location was great, rental property owners were great to deal with and we were happy with our trip. If we make it back to Fort Myers, we will definitely be renting here again.

Perfect for multiple families and all ages

This house was wonderful to stay in. We had 15 people ranging from ages 1-64. No problem fitting all of those people in the home. The beach was a one block walk and the street has a crosswalk at that spot. There is also a trolley stop right there. Note that the trolley can be a long wait when they only have 2 trolleys running. They are subjected to the same traffic problems as everyone else so there is no reliable schedule. We did not have a vehicle so had groceries etc delivered easily. Something to note that was a continued problem for deliveries and taxis. The address is on Palmetto and the house number corresponds to that street. However, the number on the house and the driveway and doors are facing Dakota. Every transport of delivery had a problem finding it. The beds were very comfortable (3 kings size, one double i separate room, 2 twins in another room and 3 twins (one bunk) in another. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, pans blenders, coffee maker etc. There is a large wagon to take what you want to the beach or use for groceries. The pool is a heated salt water pool and was enjoyed immensely by all. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Publix and a few other stores are one half mile away so walkable (or skateboard/bikes) if you are not buying heavy items. If you don't have small children, biking would be an easy way to get around. I cannot say enough great things about this house and I feel it is undersold on VRBO.

great for large families

Upon entry the propety had a musty smell - once the air conditioners started and air circulated it was better. Windows were quite dirty considering how much we pay for the cleaning cost. The wagon with sand equipment was filthy and I washed out before using and sprayed down pool area. water pressure was terrible at the sink in the kitchen. We did call and a man came and spent a couple of hours but did not fix anything. He said he would be back with new faucet but never came back. toaster and coffee maker were broken - I did call and we received new ones that afternoon - which we appreciated. Location to the beach is great and the pool was functional and fun with the different lights. If you go during busy time - rent bikes and use those for transportation as traffic can be horrible. I would say that it would be nice not to pay such huge prices for cleaning when the place was not up to par especially during covid. I spent alot of time cleaning the place before our family came and before we left. It would also be nice that when guests leave extra paper towels/toilet paper/pods for dishwasher and washer that they are left for next guests to use. Thanks!

Wonderful home and location

We had a wonderful stay in this clean and spacious home. Our grandkids loved playing in the pool as well as our shirt distance walk to the beach. We are returning next year!

Rent at your own risk, Musty, poorly maintained, beach property with loud neighbors

Entire proprety had a musty smell to it that never went away even when we ran every AC unit, I think there are 8. Also every AC unit controller needed batteries. What was that outrageous cleaning fee for? The fee didnt cover our cleaning costs and time upon returning home. Four of the bathrooms had issues upon arrival and the master towards the beach had no fan. Slow drains to the point of not being unusable in two bathrooms, low water pressure, and a toilet that wouldn't flush were discovered on day one. The toilet was fixed, the other two issues were not. The pool had non working light -no night swims. The neighbors enjoyed themselves until midnight most nights. All items were brought to Sun Country with the reuest to be forwarded to the owners. Other than an automated response from Sun Country, there has been no con tact from Sun Country or the property owners never

We had a fabulous time!

The house was beautiful and spacious enough for 14 people. The beach access was so close, to get any closer You would have to be on the beach itself! With 2 little ones, it was the perfect spot. Quiet area with a trolly stop at the corner, we were able to go anywhere we wanted. The heated pool was a perfect addition for breaks from the beach and the evening relaxation. We will definitely return to the Big Blue Beach House!

Great stay close to the beach!

We were a little nervous about this property having no reviews when we booked, but were very happy with our stay. The location is great with a very short walk to a nice sand beach. The house was well equipped with a large wagon, beach chairs, toys, wheeled cooler, and plenty of beach towels. This made for a very easy walk with everything needed to spend the day at the beach. After the beach we loved coming back to the house and refreshing in the pool which was cool and mostly shaded in the afternoon. We had two families with four adults and 6 young kids total and the house was perfect. Plenty of room to sleep everyone comfortably in the many bedrooms. The large kitchen and dining room table made it easy to have meals together. We were extremely happy with our stay at the Big Blue Beach House and would recommend to anyone.
