We had a wonderful stay. Room was immaculate, except for some areas that needed painting. I would have given 5 stars if the kitchen had more amenities.It only had one sauce pan and baking sheets, no frying pans, plus only butter knives, was difficult to cook a full meal. Beautiful beach, great for shelling! I would 100%stay again.

Absolutely loved my stay at Casa Ybel. The beach is steps away and all of the units have back doors/ porches to make accessing the beach even easier. Check in was ok. The young lady helping me even held my groceries since our room was not ready yet and then had them delivered to our room. Some of the young maintenance staff came in while I was checking in and seemed to try and start an argument with her, but she kept professional. I would absolutely stay here again.

Gulf facing rooms are perfect! Attentive staff. Thistle bar staff were friendly and fun. Plus the food was very good.

The room had a fantastic layout! The screened porch was incredible! Perfect location, i love the lounge chairs in the beach! Great stay! I cant wait to go back!!

We loved the resort. Very clean. The housekeepers were wonderful. We loved being so close to the beach. The kids loved the warm pool and hot tub. I wish there would have been more kids food choices at the bar. We had such a wonderful time!!

Beautiful room, beach location, view and pool. Amenities listed on website all cost extra and typically require delivery. Requesting and receiving beach chairs / umbrella was not smooth and cost extra per day. With the exception of housekeeping which was really great, most customer service was unfriendly/unhelpful.

Ongoing construction in the complex next door was only negative. It has to be done for the island to fully recover, so I was okay with it.

Horrible took one hour and half to even ck in / I was the only one there. Said with Expedia reservations don’t show for 24 hour. She told me go eat go to park just basically go away till my manager calls me because I can’t do anything for you. We got there at 6:20 pm at 7:30 pm finally got a key for room after she keep my credit card and licence and told me to pick up around 9:00 pm or tomorrow in the morning. Got room 112 walked in and a worker was just standing there and laughed no ice for 24 hour ) why will she give you this room.) Left message for manager Madison at 10:00 am. Still no call back. 1:00 pm Not looking for anything I just don’t want anyone to have same experience as I did.

The beach view was very nice but during the entire time we were there people had to stay out of the water due to large amounts of seawood in the water and piled along the shore. The resort did nothing to try to clean up the beach.We drove up to Captiva and the water and beach were pristine. The girl at the front desk was totally uninterested when we checked in. Didn't explain anything about the resort. There was no information in the room about the restaurant, pool hours, how to call the front, etc. We had a mediocre dinner at the pool bar. Food was so so but service was terrible. Better places to eat on the island. The air conditioner stopped cooling during our last night there. When we checked out I told the front desk about it and she said I'm sorry. I asked for some credit on my bill. After talking to the manager they decided to give me a credit for our 2 bar drink charge. I suggested they credit the dinner charge instead and finally agreed on that. Beware that when you book it says they have beach loungers and umbrellas. It looks like they are complimentary and the cabanas have a charge. They want $40 a day for 2 loungers and an umbrella. Lucky we brought our own. Not sure we would stay here again.

It has been a complete disaster. The odor was unbreathable. It smelled really bad in the entire hotel. Outside (there were no way you could stay on the beach and enjoy it), plus inside (in the room!). They should have warned us at the time when we did the reservation or the check in. But it was as if they were trying to hide it. I will NEVER go back there. I do not recommend to anyone to spend even one hour in this hotel.

Todo estaba muy bien, la ubicacion, la limpieza, lo unico que no nos gusto fue que la piscina cierra muy temprano, y ahora en verano donde oscurece tarde deberia de.estar abierta hasta las 8:00 pm.
