Surfcomber Beachfront 4 habitaciones / 4 baños House

Surfcomber está directamente en la playa del Golfo de México. La casa está ubicada a lo largo de Captiva Drive, en la sección "Gold Coast" deseable y poco poblada de la isla Captiva. Esta es una excelente ubicación con mucha privacidad y una hermosa franja de playa de arena blanca. Los terrenos en el lado este de la casa son un jardín elegante y cuidado con bonitos senderos entre flores, plantas tropicales y árboles.

Surfcomber tiene una gran piscina privada climatizada con bañera de hidromasaje en el suelo. La casa es espaciosa y aprovecha su ubicación frente al mar: cocina, comedor, sala de estar, dormitorio principal y porche con mosquitero, todos con vista a la playa. Disfrute de la televisión de 50 pulgadas en la sala de estar con chimenea y techo de catedral (lo siento, las chimeneas no están disponibles para los huéspedes). Las suites de cuatro dormitorios tienen baño completo y la suite principal (con ascensor privado) tiene una terraza con vistas a la playa. Toda la casa está decorada de diseño.

Great family vacation spot

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've stayed at Surfcomber for years. We are glad to return for the first time since the hurricane. The property has had some very nice upgrades to the kitchen and bathrooms. The view of the sunset on the gulf is always breathtaking. The pool at Surfcomber is hands down the best! The island is still recovering from the hurricane. Both adjoining properities are under construction. Of note, the beds are hard and the pillows are flat. If that's what your family likes, it will be fine. Don't let it stop you. There are only a few restaurants on Captiva. The Mucky Duck is always good. Doc Ford's, Tutti Pazzi, and Traders are sure bets on Sanibel. Go to Sanibel and check out Ding Darling Preserve and the historical village.

Huge kitchen, all bedrooms and baths very large and well stocked with plenty of bath and beach towels. Property was clean and well maintained. We had a wonderful time and would definitely rent again!

The description is accurate but I would also add that there is both a drip and Kcup coffee maker, pool floats, beach chairs, beach buckets and even shell scoopers. Initially, we didn't have enough beach umbrellas but a call to management quickly solved the issue. Our family loved the house and location and now have wonderful memories of our time spent on Captiva.

Wonderful roomy house on the water

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beachcomber is a great house with a perfect location. The four bedrooms and four full bathrooms make it great for our family. The extra 1/2 bath by the pool is very handy too.Highlights: big well equipped kitchen, wonderful screened porch across front of the house facing the Gulf with loungers and second dining table and chairs, screened porch facing gulf on 2nd floor off master bedroom, elevator handy for moving in and out, grocery unloading etc, the sunny heated pool, excellent maintenance standards.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Have stayed in Surfcomber many years. New kitchen and bathrooms , all repainted interior walls new. Pool in great Shape. The house was in better shape than ever. Foliage blocked the view of the water and beach and unfortunately the noseeums left their mark by the hundreds on the entire family. Won’t return until more redevelopment and controll of insects.

Captiva Winner

My wife and I spent a week at Surfcomber with her parents and enjoyed a 100% experience. House is large and beautiful, set well back from the road on a huge lot. Pool area is nicer than most resorts I've seen. It's a short walk to the beach for the great sunsets. Of all the vacation home rentals we've enjoyed, Surfcomber has, by far, the best equipped kitchen. Tons of space, beautiful landscaping, I could go on and on, but you should just see for yourself You won't be disappointed.

A very merry Christmas in Captiva

Wonderful property on the beach on the Southern end of Captiva. House was immaculate and well-maintained with an abundance of pool and beach toys/floats, as well as 4 bicycles. Two bedrooms on the upper floor, two on the main living floor. Each with its own ensuite bath. Kitchen was lovely with lots of tools and pots/pans. As of the time of this review, there was a drip coffee maker and a Keurig, together with a coffee grinder for the drip maker. The best equipped rental we've ever experienced. Living level has a very large, screened porch with a table with 8 chairs, several lounge chairs and separate sitting chairs. The entire house is well maintained, including the gas grill by the pool. Immediate beach access with a shower to wash off sand just outside the pool area. The front and pool area are very nicely landscaped with a variety of trees and shrubs, including coconut palms. An excellent rental, which our entire family enjoyed! Merry Christmas!

Great Beachside Location

A wonderful relaxing oasis. Heated pool. Hot tub. Beachside with View. Great House. Beautiful Kitchen. Wish the TV had had a good Speaker system for movies at night was my only recommendation

Awesome Beach House!!!

This beach house was perfect for our family. The large bedrooms & on suites gave everyone their privacy. The common areas, & the porch were relaxing and well laid out. The porch was awesome for watching the sunsets. Grandkids loved the pool & the beach. It was an awesome beach house on an awesome island. We will be back.

The layout of the home was ideal for our family, and the cleanliness and amenities were top-notch. We spent hours in the beautiful warm pool and jacuzzi and enjoyed access to the beach on the path next to the home. Maintenance on the home is fantastic, including the pool being kept sparkling clean. We cherished nightly sunsets from the screened porch and cooked many great meals in the well-stocked kitchen. We highly recommend this property, and can't wait to return!
