An amazing stay disconnected from life and close to hiking, sightseeing, and popular attractions. We cooked and read and napped. I would love to come here again!

The house is very sweet, nicely appointed, extremely clean and comfortable. It is set on a quiet country road, surrounded by fields and distant mountains. We especially enjoyed sitting by the creek and soaking in the hot tub

Overall it was a great get away for a hiking trip. House was stocked well and laid out nicely. I would suggest more comfortable furniture for watching TV and hanging in the screen porch. Extra towels for hot tub would also be nice. We enjoyed our stay. As far as clean. The fridge was not cleaned out or clean. Everything else was clean!

Planned a quit stay here while driving out in the mountains. enjoyed having a home to stay in instead of a hotel. The beds are crazy comfortable! Wish we could have enjoyed the hot tub but it thunderstorm the whole night. that being said it was great to sit in the covered porch and listen to the rain. 10/10 will stay again. also 10/10 views from the house.

My 3 kids (ages 5, 9, and 11) plus our fur baby stayed at this cottage for a couple nights while we went to visit Luray Caverns. We loved the location and cleanliness! Definitely would stay here again.

We loved this house. It was so cute and the yard was nice and big for our dog and son to run around. It was conveniently located for horseback riding. We would stay here again.

Nice central location to many of the areas attractions, pet friendly, responsive helpful host and nice view. When they say a 4 wheel drive is a good idea during the winter months I would heed that suggestion, in the summer months a regular car is fine.

This cottage is so cute and it fit the four of us just right. Very comfortable beds, lots of pillows and nice living room furniture. There are great views of the mountains and big fields with cows on the other side of the fence. You felt like you were far away from the ruckus of everyday life. It was bright and cheery with beautiful wall paper and lots of windows. A hot tub and screened porch was also there to enjoy. We had a wonderful time and will go back again.

We were looking for a cozy, quiet place to stay in the Shenandoah valley for a fall getaway. We found it. We loved your home. The hot tub was my favorite. We did a bit of hiking and it really helped with the soreness. There was a full moon during our stay. The moon rise and sun rise were outstanding. The beds were the most comfortable I have had while renting a home. Olivia was very attentive. She would send us information on things to do. We would definitely rent this house again if we ever make it back to the area.

We picked this adorable cottage for our much needed time away. This place didn’t disappoint…..we had a fantastic time. The hostess was amazing at helping make our stay wonderful…she is awesome at communicating. We will definitely be back!!! ☺️

The property was quaint, quiet, and safe. Loved all the amenities, decor, and comfort of Olivia’s place. The tiny creek running through by the fire pit was a huge plus! Would definitely come back.

Great little spot to stay. Communication with owner was excellent, needed a few things at the property and she was on top of it. Cell service was not great, but wifi was excellent, just what we needed.

A total gem! My friend and I absolutely loved staying at Sunrise Cottage! Perfectly clean, absolutely beautiful. Lots of great information before we checked in, and we had everything we needed. So many rentals in the region feel a little scary and are unattractive. This was the complete opposite! It was like staying at a cool friend's place, and we spent a lot of time talking about when we plan to return. I am stoked to have found this wonderful property!
