This condo felt like home, but BETTER! My husband and I have a 14yo boy and an 11yo girl. Our son loved having his own suite with a view! And our girl absolutely loved the bunks with tvs! This unit has a door to the bunk room (some did not) which was essential for us. This condo was the cleanest (including the floor!) by far, of any rental we have ever visited. Furnishings/decor were beautiful throughout and really added to our ability to relax and enjoy the space. The kitchen had everything needed including sharp/good quality knives and utensils. I even liked the carpet in the bedrooms (keeps feet clean and non sandy before bed!). Plenty of extra towels in the beautifully updated bathrooms was so nice. The beds were comfortable, the a/c worked perfectly and quietly, everything felt fresh and clean. If I had to nitpick, I would prefer the sofa to be recovered. It is so hard to keep a rental sofa spotless, so we put the extra bed sheet over it for the week for our comfort. Another thing to note, which we did not know until we checked in, was that the Waterscape buildings are INSIDE HALLWAYS leading to condos on each side. Half looking away from the pools, half looking toward. Using the elevator or stairs to an inside hallway keeps everything so clean and out of the elements. We did not know this and were thrilled as this was the first condo arranged like this. The cleaning crew were always out vacuuming and dusting. This Oceanview condo is as close to oceanfront as possible as it is the 2nd unit from the beach. So the beach/ocean is a beautiful view from the inside of the condo and from the large balcony where we ate almost every meal. The Waterscape is in itself a total package. Several pools, hot tubs, lazy river, tiki bar, beach access and umbrella/chairs included for us! There is a ramp to the beach for strollers, carts etc. and a large area for rinsing off. We love the area too, restaurants with outside seating, a great pirate/dinosaur putt putt across the street. The ocean was closed the week were here (due to hurricanes in the gulf) so the pools were perfect as was the Gulf Islands National Seashore Park located just east on the Bay side. We loaded up our car with inflatables and beach essentials and spent many days floating in the calm, warm water of the bay, you would never have known that there was high surf and riptide warnings just on the other side of the island! Bonus: this is where kite boarding and parasailing tours are located and
