First let's start with the pros: Easy walk to the beach. Couple elevator rides and a walk across the skybridge and you are there! We loved the lazy river at the resort. Bonus, you can see the lazy river from the balcony, so I could watch my kiddos. Getting to downtown Destin was a quick drive across the bridge. Far enough away to enjoy less traffic and people but close enough we could get to everything in about 10-15 minutes. Now the cons: This place is in need of some love and updates. They are still using VHS for technology. I'm not to old (almost 50) but lord I haven't seen VHS since high school. There was also a bubble TV in one room and the other TV's were super small. The living room has a loveseat (not couch) it only fits two people and the other two chairs are so small and uncomfortable. If you want to watch TV as a family, you are most likely sitting at the kitchen table. The beds were comfortable enough, but thank god we brought our own pillows because I think the pillows that are on the bed are from when the place was built. I feel like if the owners put some money, time, and attention in this place it could have been a lot better. The trash can was broken also and DEFINETLY bring your own supplies. They provide you with some necessities, but it was very limited. For example, one roll of paper towels, one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, 2 trash bags and NO cleaning supplies or soap, which I found rare for a VRBO.
