  • Relax, unwind, and unplug at Island Princess 600, a Fort Walton Beach, FL vacation condo. With three bedrooms and three full bathrooms, this rental offers space for 8 guests. Because of this, it is the perfect choice for a family getaway or friend’s reunion to the beach.

    Not only does this condo offer spacious accommodations, but also incredible views of the Gulf of Mexico! You will love sitting out on your private balcony listening to the waves crash against the shore. You may even get lucky and see a dolphin out in the distance. Trust us when we say, experiencing a beach sunset from your balcony is a must. Your kitchen will come fully stocked with all the equipment and utensils necessary. This makes preparing snacks for the beach easy! You could even prepare a home-cooked meal during your stay and enjoy it at the separate dining area. The living room even features a Smart TV so you can stay up to date on new releases of your favorite shows while on vacation. The living room isn’t the only spot where you can see the water. The master bedroom also has a gorgeous view of the beach.

Let me start out with the positives. It is an amazing view on the sixth floor, and it is a corner unit. It has a view from the front and the side. And one of the bedrooms has its balcony facing the other side of the island and you can see that part of the water and it is beautiful view. The kitchen was very nice all new appliances. The bathrooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. There was also beach umbrella and chair rental that was provided with your condo. The grounds of the condos are beautiful and kept very well. The kitchen is fully stocked with lots and lots of dishes and utensils.The negatives are the carpets in the bedroom are disgusting. The master had a dirt trail leading in to the bedroom and it was filthy. The TV must’ve been scratched up by a child. Although it didn’t seem to hinder the TV when it was on. Also make sure you pack toilet paper because they only give you one roll. And even hotels give you two rolls or maybe three. The sofa and loveseat were very uncomfortable and loveseat. Had stains on it. If I were ever asked, would I stay there again? I would not. Unless a few things were done to improve the negatives. we stayed another property last year just right down the beach with the same view. But the inside was beautiful and taken care of and for the amount of money that people spent on these rentals for 4 nights you would think you should at least get a few things cleaned and make them presentable for the renters.

Great location!

The condo is a great location at the corner of the building, elevator just steps away from the front door. The view is spectacular! From the balcony you have full view of the beach and gulf and as far as you can see to the east and west. For us, it was well worth the price to have this view and ability to sit on the balcony to stare off at the gulf and listen to the sound of the waves. The beach is steps away with chair/umbrella service included. Perfect for relaxation! We did have some issues. We were notified prior to check in that there were some toilet and washer issues, but they gave the all clear to check-in. One would assume that meant they were resolved. They were not. Our vacation was interrupted with almost daily communication with the property staff that the issue remained despite maintenance coming to assess the issue and apparently signing off that all was well. There was definitely a lack of communication somewhere. I understand that appliances break down. I do appreciate transparency and candid conversations. Just be straight and tell me you won't be able to fix it, we won't be able to use the washing machine, you are sincere with your apology for the inconvenience and offer a solution. I don't feel I should have had to take a few hours out of my last vacation day to call and complain in order to get a resolution. All in all, this is a great location and property. I would advise everyone, no matter where you stay to not 100% depend on the stated amenities.

Overall nice location on beach with chair service

Condo was ok but not great for overall price. Check in and out with code was great. Laundry door was off track and there was a large dead cockroach in master closet floor when we arrived. It kind of put a damper on my excitement. We could tell some things in condo were new or upgraded like fridge, dishes and keurig but others were old and dirty like chairs on deck, light switches, hvac registers and ceiling fan in living room. It also took management over 24 hrs to get us a wifi password which was inconvenient. Overall it was okay but just felt like it was overpriced for the condition.
