If relaxation is your intent, you can sit on the balcony and take in the wonderful ocean breeze and enjoy the scenery of all that the emerald coast has to offer with the beautiful, pristine white sugary sand beaches and the aqua to emerald green colors of the ocean waters.


You might even be lucky enough to see a sea turtle come to deposit her eggs upon the beach. Island princess has a nice large pool decking unlike some complexes which are overcrowded. The pool is heated in the off season to accommodate the cooler seasons. A quiet relaxing moment in the hot/spa tub on the pool decking is very romantic and a great way to end the day.

Okaloosa island does not have any complexes over seven-stories which makes for a roomy beach. Traffic flows smoothly, and we are only seven miles from Destin.

Free high-speed internet service & WiFi is included. Washer/Dryer is provided in the unit. The property also offers an exercise/fitness room and a meeting/card room that are used extensively by winter visitors.

Island Princess Complex has earned a reputation as the jewel of Okaloosa Island among the tourists. This property is located on the white sand and crystal waters which gives the emerald coast its sparkle. It has been the 'number one beach in the south for four years in a row' by "Southern Living" and rated 'best family destination vacation in American,' by Nashville Parent Magazine.

Water-activities are located at various spots on the bay side on the island and in Destin. Multiple water-sports including parasailing, jet-skiing, windsurfing, and kite-surfing, not to mention some of the best fishing in the world are offered near by. Fishing enthusiasts from around the world frequent the fishing village of Destin. Fishing charters for deep-sea fishing are only a ten minute drive from the condo or you may try your luck on the 1262' long pier which is one mile away and rents fishing rods by the day for $8.

If your are into golf, we have multiple courses to tweak your interest and challenge your par. Shoppers can visit the quaint shops of Fort Walton or take a short drive to the large Silver Sands Outlet mall or the Destin Commons which is located 16 miles East on US 98. Within a short drive are a multitude of things to do. Take a trip to the Air Force Armament Museum which is Free to enter. The Indian Mound is a local museum complete with artifacts. Gulfarium , Surge trampoline park, miniature golf, go-kart rentals, water park, and a science museum are kid friendly for the young guests.

Fort Walton Beach, Okaloosa Island has it's very own pirate, named Billy Bow Legs. There is an annual celebration of an armada of ships which arrive on the inter coastal waterway and bay areas on the first Saturday of June. Billy is dressed complete in pirate attire and docks at one of the local marinas. Throughout the week of his arrival, the city hosts a treasure hunt, a parade complete with beads, trinkets and candy for the kids in the evening of the final celebration day. If you have kids, it is a must to enjoy and if not, there is plenty of celebrating and partying for young and old alike. The climax of the celebration is complete with fireworks, fired over the moonlight bay.

Our condo was redecorated in late summer of 2012. Our unit is gulf front and only steps to the beach. Balcony has 4 chairs and table with spectacular views of the Emerald Coast. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare a meal. Dining area seats 5 and refrigerator has ice maker. Bedroom has a new comfortable king size bed and a 32" Samsung LCD television. The hallway has a bunk-area alcove that is perfect for adults or children. Master bath has plenty of counter space and shares a separate tub/shower area with guest bath. This unit comes with two available parking spaces, one of which is a covered garage numbered 508, reserved space.
