Fort William Chalet is within easy reach to go for something to eat if you don’t want to cook such as the ‘Ben Nevis Inn’ which serves great, wholesome food and strives to use local producers and brewers. There are also good pubs in the area such as the ‘Garrison West’ and off course for those that are keen hill walkers, enjoy walking up Ben Nevis which is the U.K.’s highest peak and the surrounding hills.

Fort William is a town in the western Scottish Highlands, on the shores of Loch Linnhe. The nearby Nevis Range Mountain Resort has ski runs and forest trails. In the town centre, the West Highland Museum focused on regional life and history. You can also explore Neptune’s Staircase which is a staircase lock, comprising of eight locks on the Caledonian Canal, built by Thomas Telford between 1803 and 1822, it is the longest staircase lock in Britain and to the northeast, Ben Nevis Distillery explores whisky production. There’s a lot of things to do in and around Fort William, including going on the steam train to Mallaig going over Glenfinnan Viaduct which was used in the Harry Potter Films. A drive over to the Isle of Skye and Eilean Donan Castle and also Loch Ness to see Nessie.
