Our grandson is T1D. He and his family live in Ft. Worth. The aunts, uncles and cousins all came to walk in the JDRF Walk for a cure. There are too many of us to crash at their house, so we rented this place convenient to their home for overflow. The location is excellent, near I30 and Hulen. It’s near my kids home, but it’s also a happening place with great shopping and restaurants near by. The home is neat, clean and very cute. The kitchen is well supplied with everything you need. We had a couple of minor issues that were immediate addressed. The code to enter did not work when I arrived, but a quick message to the manager fixed it before I could walk back to my car. A couple of GFI plugs didn’t work, but they were also on that immediately. My husband located the breaker box and remedied the issue. However, the outside plug to the hot tub was one of the plugs not working making the hot tub a cold tub. The kids still managed to have a little fun anyway. By the way, we melted the coffee pot, which had to do with moving the coffee maker because of a gfi not working, it was too close to the stove top where we boiled a large pot of water later in the day. I reported the damage. They’ve been so kind as to not ask me to replace it, although, I agreed to. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. I would stay here again if the need arose. Thanks for being so prompt and kind about everything.
