Hi Robert, Thank you for your review and the opportunity to address your concerns. 1- the Vape you found was one of the cleaning crews that fell out of her pocket. It was an accident that is was left behind. 2- There was a bachelorette party that checked out the day you checked in. There was a lot of confetti around the house. We tried our best to pick it all up but confetti is one of those things that is very hard to get every single piece especially when you have another guest checking in the same day. 3- the front steps are currently damaged but usable. We had them patched last year but over the winter some of the concrete did break off. We have scheduled a contractor to come rebuild the entire stairs this summer. 4- the cameras outside are used for the safety of not only us the owners but the guests as well. Also as insurance incase ever needed. Unfortunately we have had guests in the past who have said they never checked in and tried to get a refund. It’s also to ensure no parties are held. Frankenmuth has a strict ordinance on the number of people who can stay inside a home. If they are broken we could loose our permit to operate. I wish we didn’t have to use them and everyone was honest and trustworthy. 5- there is a lot of trees on the property. We blow the deck off quite often but it can be dirty an hour later with the trees dropping its buds or any kind of wind. 6- We schedule under the furniture to be cleaned bi-weekly. To address your concern we’ve changed it to weekly. We take cleanliness and being good hosts seriously. I would have personally been happy to come and address any of the concerns you had. Such as blowing off the deck or cleaning under any furniture you were concerned about. Again thank you for the review and the opportunity to review your concerns.
