Heaven on the Hill

It was absolutely Heaven staying in this cabin! My husband, my 27 year-old son and I stayed for 4/5 days and had more fun than I’ve ever had on vacation. The house was perfect, it was perfect for our dog, and everything was where it was supposed to be. In love!! We are looking forward to staying here again.

Quiet forest getaway

The home was comfy and nicely equipped. We had to wipe down the table and chairs on the porch to use them, but the woody setting and the sound of the creek at the bottom of the hill made relaxing easy. Having a pool table was a great add for our teen, but we've been in homes with more games if you have more of a family focus. It's about 15-20 minutes from town, but if you're looking for a getaway, it's perfect. We enjoyed our stay!

Mountain Getaway

Very serene location. We enjoyed listening to the creek while having our morning coffee. Very good location to get to multiple ruby mines as well.

Great little cabin

Great little cabin. Just far enough outside town to be quiet and relaxing. Place was exceptionally clean and organized. Two porches (upper wrap around and lower). Both porches had seating options. Cabin was small but well organized so that it was cozy and not crowded. Downstairs had a large bed, large couch with sleeper, plus a day bed off to the side room full bath downstairs as well as a pool table. Highly recommend this place. Thank you!

We had a wonderful experience We stayed 7 days, the cabin was clean and inviting, well stocked kitchen, the cabin is roomy and beautifully decorated with a rustic theme. Very pleasant place

Loved the location, enjoyed the porch with the cool temperatures and listening to the creek below. Cleaned up the hummingbird feeder and made some feed for them and seen several enjoying it. The cabin was mostly clean, some areas needed a little bit more cleaning such as cobwebs and bathtub in upstairs bath wasn't clean. And the porches needed to be maintained a little better. But regardless of this we enjoyed the stay.

Terrible Stay!

The cabin was not cleaned yet upon our contracted arrival time. Cleaning crew arrived later stating they were late because of cleaning other cabins. We sat out in our car while the cabin was supposedly cleaned. Contact with VACASA was usless. Speaking to a foreigner in another contry that spoke poor English about a problem in NC is usless. They did nothing but say they would report it to the local team who would contact us about any issues. They knew nothing about refunds or even when someone local would contact us. We secifally asked cleaners to clean off the decks since they were covered with debris. After they left, we discovered that they only cleaned the top deck. There were live spiders and multiple webs throughout the house.the downstairs toliet had black stains/mold around the base of it. The storm door window had multiple dead bugs traped in the glass. The blanket on the downstairs bed was not washed but just folded and placed on the bed where we observed it had been used by prior guest on our arrival. Mutiple light fixtures in the house did not work, were missing, or had burnt out bulbs. This cabin has a queen bed, a king bed, and a twin bed. There is only one real bed room having a closet and a door for privacy. The downstairs bedroom(s) have no closets and none of the bedrooms have any storage for clothing in the way of a dresser. The one bedroom with a closet, had no hangers. TV internet and dish were impossible to watch. It froze up every 5 minutes. We never rec

Quiet and beautiful

Super clean and a great place to stay. It's off the beat path but worth it. It's quiet with just nature. Occasional barking dogs. Nothing close by and the closest place to buy something is a gas station 15 minutes away. Suggest brining a cooler with food.

Nice comfortable cabin

Cabin is about 20 minutes from town, very nice area, you can hear the creek running across the road. Nicely furnished, beds very comfortable. We did have an issue with the shower randomly cutting off with no warning! All in all a great place to stay

Great Fall Weekend

Spent the weekend in Franklin. Heaven on the Hill was a wonderful house. Very new and clean. Beds and furniture were extremely comfortable. Its a short drive to Franklin. Spent time at Curahee Brewery, the Franklin Pumpkin Festival and Clayton, Georgia. We will be renting this cabin again. Thank you for a wonderful fall weekend!!

Heaven on the Hill

Everything went great. No problems with anything. Just too bad that this week was extremely cold and we were unable to enjoy the outdoors and porches. Very nice. Thank you again for sharing this wonderful place with us.
