“We thoroughly enjoyed our days "up north" at The Outpost on Wymer Lake! From submitting my rental request to checking into the property, Tracy was a dream to work with--responsive, thorough, friendly. The lakehome was perfect for our stay--comfy couches and beds, decks with good seating, spacious open floor plan in kitchen/dining/living areas, and fun retro decorations. The location on the lake afforded beautiful sunrises and peaceful surroundings. And we were close enough to Frazee and Detroit...

“We stayed here for 2 nights in May and had a fantastic time! The owners were accessible and came down to fill the water tank and clear the waste tank when we needed it. They warned us the water from the tap was discolored but safe to drink, and provided us with a gallon of distilled water. If you are particular about the water you drink, definitely bring drinking water. The stove and grill worked well, there was plenty of firewood, and the kayak only fit one person but was so fun to take out on...

“It was a beautiful trip into Frazee, this area will remind you why it's called land of 10,000 lakes. There is a ton to do around the town between coffee shops, fishing, thrift stores and trolls. The boathouse overall was very cozy and has a beautiful morning view of the lake at your feet. I highly recommend this to a couple looking have a close weekend together!”

“We loved this little house on the lake while we were in the Detroits Lakes area hiking in 3 of the MN State Parks. The size and location of the house was perfect for us, and the furnishings were warm and inviting. From chilled bottled water in the refrigerator, to a sweet hadwritten note from the owners with the gift of a grilling mat, we felt like we were cared for as "family". Being able to walk out the backdoor down to the dock in the early morning with a cup of coffee and watch sunrise...

“This cottage was a great place to relax and spend time as a family. My son loved getting to walk the short distance to the dock to fish as much as he wanted to.
