  • A beautiful spacious house with incredible year-round panoramic views of the Potomac River. You'll enjoy the convenience of a a short path from the front porch to the river and towpath. From there you can hike less than a mile along the CNO canal to the Harpers Ferry footbridge where cafés and pubs await you. One block to Guide House Grill restaurant and River &Trail Outfitters for tubing and rafting. Or walk across the bridge to Harpers Ferry Adventure Center for rafting, tubing, zip lines and micro brewery

Great host communication-one of the nicest properties we have stayed in. Very clean home and comfortable beds. Gorgeous river views and very peaceful, quiet area. We were visiting for a wedding and the location was perfect; close to groceries,bakeries and restaurants. We wish we could have stayed longer.

We had a great weekend celebrating our son’s birthday! Sitting on the deck and enjoying the view was a favorite. The house is beautiful, well equipped and met the needs of our family. Would definitely come back.

This house is amazing! Gorgeous! Three stunning floors of exceptionally clean, bright, roomy, and well decorated rooms. The views from all rooms cannot be beat! So peaceful.The host has excellent communication. He provides clear directions for arrival and helpful local information for near by interests/restaurant.My only recommendation would be for the refrigerator to have an automatic ice maker. It should also be noted that the driveway entrance is located on a sharp corner. It can be dangerous pulling out of the driveway.Our family highly recommend this home! We cannot wait to come back! 10/10

Beautiful, spacious home with excellent views. Perfect location for a weekend with friends. We could not have picked a better spot. Host was very responsive.

Wonderful house, with porches overlooking the river, adjacent to the Tow Path walking and biking trail, and within walking distance of Harpers Ferry. Kitchen was well stocked, house was very clean, and bedrooms worked well for our 4 couples (with one bedroom to spare). Michael was always very quick to respond to any questions or issues we raised, and he provided useful info about the area and things to do. Driveway would be tight for 4 cars, as Michael had forewarned us (we had just 3 cars), and backing onto the street when leaving was a bit challenging. (We positioned a person at street-side to watch for any oncoming traffic.)

The house has a spectacular view, was clean, and has everything we needed. Great layout with balcony and bathrooms on every floor. Our host always responded immediately and was very friendly. Location is also convenient, with easy access to trails and Harpers Ferry. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you!

Our 2nd stay at this beautiful home. Spacious for 6 of us. Everything was so cleaned and maintained. Michael Brown (host) is a pleasure to work with, he is so courteous and responds quickly to any questions I had.

We had such a good time staying here. The house was spacious, super clean and well taken care of, but what really makes this house stand out is that on every level there are stunning views of the river. It's within easy drive of Frederick, Shepherdstown and Harpers Ferry. We hiked to HF with no problem, and hung out at the Harpers Ferry Brewery in the evening (which is 5 minutes down the road). On top of all that the host, Mike, is incredibly responsive. Whether it was a quesiton about the house or recommendations of where to eat in the area, he responded almost immediately. This place is an example of what a great VRBO experience should be like. We will deifintely be back.

Multi-generational Family Vacation

Great location, fantastic activities - fishing, tubing on the river, hiking & family dinners. Grandkids had an excellent time. Mike is an awesome host. Our third stay at this house, says it all!
