  • When it comes to a retreat in the heart of Fredericksburg, you will be hard-pressed to find a better home base than Fredericksburg Mill, a renovated historic home originally built in 1850. Comprised of two levels separated by a lockable breezeway, this will be the perfect place for multiple families, couples, or groups of friends to gather. The entire home offers more than enough room for larger groups to enjoy, and even the most design-oriented guests will be spoiled by the high-end finishings, modern furnishings, and pops of vibrant art throughout. When everyone returns from a day of fun in the city, the open layout of the dining area and full kitchen of the lower level will welcome you home to whip up tasty meals on modern appliances as the rest of the gang gathers for a game night. The upper level is outfitted with a kitchenette and bright living area as well for a bit of separation if need be. When it is time to settle down, Smart TVs, gas fireplaces, and high-speed WiFi are more than ready to keep everyone entertained and connected.

    Venturing out will be a breeze with Main Street within walking distance boasting a plethora of fantastic restaurants, shops, and attractions. Such an incredible home, beautiful upgrades and character! Worked so perfected for our girls weekend! Such a great location, easy walk to downtown for shopping and restaurants and perfectly situated to get out to the wineries.

Beautiful home in a perfect location

The house is even more beautiful in person. The beds were so comfortable that we looked for the mattress tags! The outdoor area was pleasant even in June because of the fan and large enough for our group to gather comfortably. We will definitely be back.

Group weekend trip

A group of 8 adults stayed at this property for a weekend trip. This place was perfect for the entire group. We had plenty of space for everyone. The amenities at the property were perfect for everyone to enjoy! The location was perfect for a quick walk to dinner, wine tasting rooms, or shopping. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone traveling to the area.

Great hangout house

We loved the rooms and the beds a lot but mostly we enjoyed the gathering spaces. The fire pit is a great hangout spot as well as the outdoor dining and living area. Wonderful. Hot tub was excellent. Kitchen, dining and living-room are very comfortable. Proximity to main street is a definite plus. Cannot wait to go back.

Best 50th Birthday! 🎂

It was a fabulous home for an intimate gathering. Fantastic firepit and beds were super comfy! We needed more supplies but they brought some fairly quickly. We left something there and it still hasn’t made its way back home but overall it was awesome.

Amazing Home!

This is a beautiful house in a great location. Very spacious and each room has King or Queen Bed. 2 separate living areas with ample room to host 10 guests. The house is very updated, but still retains its historic charm. Great backyard with patio, fire pit and spa. 15 minutes from many vineyards. Walking distance to Main Street and the 290 Wine Shuttle. I highly recommend this property.

Relaxing getaway

Communication with host was excellent. Beautiful property. Great outdoor living space, fire pit, dining table, nice propane grill, great seating with large screen tv, hot tub was warm and ready upon arrival. Very comfortable beds and linens. Comfortable furnishings. No car needed, close to shopping, restaurants, wineries and breweries. Will definitely book this property again next year. .

Great house with prime location

Perfect location a block off Main St.! Very nice house and a wonderful backyard with large patio for our group of 10. Too much to do over the weekend, so we weren’t able to enjoy the hot tub, sauna, and fire pit. But we look forward to coming back. Neat historical touch to the property—the game room out back (poker table/games) has the original walk in refrigerator and meat hanging locker from the old days.

The best place I have stayed in!

This is such a jewel. So close to the action. Beautiful remodel, quality furnishings, huge back yard with great amenities, kitchen fully stocked, etc. etc. etc. So clean, it seemed like we were the first people to stay there. This is an A ++ property....nothing else to say.

Fredericksburg weekend

The house was very nice and had everything needed. It is located very close to Main St. and all activities. The drawbacks. The road next to the house is very busy and somewhat loud. The exterior area was not clean at arrival, and in my opinion, was miss represented by the pictures. It was extremely hot, so using the outdoor areas was not needed on this trip. The interior was nice, usable, and clean.

Worth the wait

I booked this house for my sister's bachelorette party months out. The location is primo with everything within walking distance. The outdoor space was spacious with lots of seating and a water fountain that made you forget every stressful thought. The house is a beautiful combination of old meets new. Bedrooms are spacious with big comfortable beds, baths are great for sharing and everything we needed was available and stocked at the house. We couldn't have asked for more. Parking is plentiful both in the driveway and in front of the house. It was truly the best arrangement for seven girls to share and enjoy. Secretly, none of us wanted to leave :)

Great friends get-a-way location

There were 5 couples that stayed in this home for a weekend. The house is beautiful. The remodel is true to it's historic nature, but beautiful in the modern comforts. The outside space is wonderful. Large couches and table outside under a big fan. There is a hot tub and sauna, but we didn't use it. Television outside and in all bedrooms has cable and pandora for music. Beds were very comfortable. House was very clean with appropriate kitchen appointments to make dinner. Coffee pot upstairs as well as downstairs with Keurig and coffee in house too. Bathroom toiletries were an added bonus, all Dove products. I would stay here again. This house is a historic home and has the original wood floors, that means creaky. There is no sneaking out of this home in the night. I'd definitely stay here again!
