Review:We had such a wonderful stay at this charming cottage! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, cozy, and welcoming. The home had all the little touches that made it feel special—comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen, and thoughtful décor that gave it a warm, inviting feel. The location was ideal, close to Main Street and wineries, yet still quiet and peaceful for relaxing evenings.We especially loved sipping coffee on the front porch. The hosts were attentive and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a Fredericksburg retreat!

This is a very charming cottage and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It is so well thought out and has so much character.Location is great! The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because the Internet did not work at all during our stay. It was a bit of an inconvenience because we had a few things to work on. We do hope to stay in this cottage again!!

Quaint. Period decor fun. Location was great with all town walkable. Clean but did have a cockroach on floor, but dead. Things to improve: towels were must moldy smelly; couldn't use outside, although would have liked to, but too many biting bugs, ie., mosquitos... a spray periodically would be appreciated by guests; coffee maker was not cleaned, still had old water in it. Having guests wash and put away the dishes just gave me the creeps...who knows how other people hand wash dishes?! I was assuming that the dishes were taken off and sanitized in a dishwasher and returned. Good little refrigerator and shower.

Quaint Stay

Love the German charm of the cottage and how it’s tucked away from the business of town but yet still walking distance to shops and restaurants. Love the rocking chairs where we could sit, enjoy the beautiful grounds while sipping on a glass of wine. Nice stay for our silver anniversary.

Great stay!

Loved sitting on the porch. Property was very private. Clean. Only thing I could suggest is blowing off the outside porch and fixing the drainage just off the porch. I know there was a lot of rain, but when we got there to check in, there was about 2 inches of water we had to navigate through to bring in all our stuff. Very nice property and we will be back! Really enjoyed Martinos, Sunser Grill and other restaurants!!

Charming

No complaints except the gate has to be lifted to get into the property and you don’t want to take anyone with mobility issues here. The ground is very uneven. You have to find your own parking but we had no trouble on a week night. The place is absolutely adorable with every thing you need except ice. There is nothing like sitting out on the porch with a glass of wine surrounded by flowers. It is close to everything.
