We really enjoyed this little cottage for our fishing trip on Whidbey Island. It was very close to our main fishing spot, Bush Point, and we were able to walk down to the beach easily. The cottage was clean, quiet, and comfortable.

We spent 8 days in this beautiful home. It is very comfortable with a gorgeous deck and backyard where we spent a good amount of our time.

Great Getaway

Great place to just relax and enjoy time on island. It was very clean and bright and we had no problems with checking in or out very easy. Beautiful view and sunsets. Would definitely stay again.

Property is in a beautiful location with easy access to the beach. The home was well stocked with everything and easy to get ahold of the property manager. The only issue we had was on Friday when we had no water but I knew they were having issues with the pump.

A very restful cottage

This place was just right for us. The peekaboo views of the sound and Olympics is a bonus added to a tidy and comfortable cottage. It is close to everything that South Whidbey has to offer and comfortable enough to make you not care if you just hang out and rest.

Family get away

The cottage is just as advertised! It was a great home base for exploring Whidbey. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the deck was a relaxing place to hang out in the mornings and evenings. We’d love to come back!

Cozy Cottage

Property is as advertised a cozy comfortable cottage! It is obviously a well loved and cared for home. Property management was very proactive and super responsive. We look forward to coming back.

Relaxing girls quilting retreat

very nice, quiet and cute cottage. Everything we needed was there including flashlights. Parking was clean and ample. Cottage was decorated so cute in it's beachy cottage style and was comfortable and relaxing. We had a great time!!!!

Delightful

This is the second time we have stayed in this house. The decor is very cute and colorful and there is so much light streaming in! The bed is SO comfortable! It is definitely older and does not have a dishwasher but it is thoroughly charming and super clean. Perfect location and very private and quiet.

Relaxation in Paradise

It reminded me of a painting by Thomas Kinkade called "Evening Majesty" very peaceful, quiet, relaxing and good for the mind and soul. A place everyone should visit at least once or twice maybe even more than that in their life. Also very welcoming. Thank You!!!

Perfect

This place is perfect for our needs, as we have family on Bush Point and it was close, but far enough. It is perfectly situated back from the road as well, and very private. We have stayed here twice now, and will likely do so again. It has everything we need to be comfortable. It's not fancy or swanky, but it is the perfect island getaway, and if you know Bush Point, you know it's a great location to explore Whidbey. Communication is easy and check-in/checkout is no problem. Highly recommend.

Lovely Cottage, Close to Beach Trails, and Langley

This cottage exceeded my expectations. It was bright and cheery, and just minutes from beach state park and trail access. The proximity to Langley and Island ferries –– including Coupeville/Port Townsend –– was an added surprise. After having battled beach crowds on the Oregon coast what I most appreciate was the privacy and quiet of the cottage's comfortable. (And, finally, as a professor, a qreat and unexpected selection of books!) Will book longer stay next year!

Great house but…

The house and location were wonderful and the management company (Tara) was the best I’ve ever dealt with. The one drawback was the beds, which were very uncomfortable and difficult to sleep on. I would recommend a 3” foam pad to make them more comfortable.

Good Location, Nice Deck

We enjoyed staying at this property. The deck was outstanding and the home is on a secluded lot. We enjoyed sitting on the deck whether we were reading or having dinner. The living room and bedrooms were nice and the windows offered cross-ventilation so we did not miss having AC. The bathroom and kitchen could use some scrubbing and a new coat of paint. The window screen in the bedroom had a large hole that had been patched with blue painter's tape. It was tacky but it did keep the bugs out. Tara Properties service was very good.

First Time Summer

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We keep coming back to a Comfy Coastal Cottage (Marcia's), but this was the first time in the summer.What a treat! First and foremost, the mild coastal temperatures (highs in the 20C's compared to 30C+ back home) were such a relief. We were able to spend time on the deck. The Adirondack chairs were very comfortable and well shaded with the patio umbrellas. This gave us an opportunity to see the wildlife that comes through the yard.We saw;hummingbirdsquailbunniesdeer (buck, doe and young male)coyoteand a bunch of other birds.We had a great time and will definitely come back in the summer again.
