Beach Music es una hermosa casa de primera fila con 5 dormitorios y 2 y 3/4 baños con impresionantes vistas de la playa Surfside y el golfo desde las dos cubiertas. Tema de estilo isleño mexicano con piso cerámico, azulejo azul cobalto en los baños y la cocina y chimenea de ladrillo en la sala. Los arreglos para dormir incluyen 1 rey en el dormitorio principal, 2 dobles en el segundo dormitorio, 1 reina en el segundo maestro, 1 litera doble y 1 pirámide en el cuarto dormitorio, cama nido y litera piramidal en el 5º dormitorio, más 2 futones en la sala. Ropa de cama, toallas, Wi-Fi y televisión por satélite están incluidos.

Nota: durante los meses pico, alquilamos de lunes a lunes, de viernes a viernes, de lunes a viernes o de lunes a viernes. Por favor, pregunte por adelantado para otros días.

Location, location, location…it’s really the only reason for the 3 star rating. This is right on the beach and the beach is beautifulThe house is dirty, which is confirmed on other reviews. It claims to have a stand alone toilet, but that door was locked so no access to it was availableThere aren’t a lot of great eating establishments in Surfside, which we knew going in, so planned all meals to be prepared at the house. We had 10 people. There was plenty of pots, plates, coffee cups and maker, and cookware/silverware…but if you wanted a glass for a drink, you used a coffee mug or shared one of three plastic glasses. If you wanted cereal or soup, you had to eat in shifts. There is a grill downstairs, but it is locked to a pilar and there is no light in that area of the under-deck. It’s winter here in Texas so that sun goes down early and it was a game to guess if our meal was raw, perfectly grilled, or terribly over cooked.Towels, beds, pillows would be what you’d expect from the motel across the street from the house…If you want to relive that first “off campus” house of your male college friends, this is your place. We also enjoyed the made up TABC laws in the welcome binder.Overall, great location. Everything else was pretty underwhelming!

Much better than we expected! Our host was prompt answering messages and providing assistance. The beach house amenities met all our needs from creating a Thanksgiving feast to casual relaxing on the porch. Location to beach is exceptional and we enjoyed watching sunrise each morning from the porch! Perfect family vacation! Highly recommend

great location

Fun house, beach is just over boardwalk. Surfside is always great. Beach got way too crowded on Saturday - won't do that again. Beachgoers were disrespectful - throwing glass, walking in front of trucks, etc. House needs better quality cookware.

Great location

House very comfortable with great beach views and location. Two restaurants within .09 beach walk from house. Very clean and well furnished. Coastal Sisters is an excellent property mgmt company—dealing with the minor issues we had promptly.

Great Location & plenty of room

The location was great, just a Short walk to the beach. We stayed here with our adult children and all of our grandchildren for the weekend. The house Was spacious with plenty of rooms and beds. I love the fact that the linens were included. The house is in need of some minor maintenance, upkeep, and deep cleaning. The house was fantastic, considering the location and price. Definitely happy that we stayed here.

Summer Surfside Trip

This is our second time to book a beach house at Surfside. This house didn’t disappoint! We had 16 people with us enjoying the beach for 5 days. Things we loved: The access to the beach, the AC worked great, plenty of towels for the house (We brought our own for the beach), the beds were all comfortable, the bathroom on the parking level was a huge plus!!, the outdoor shower was also super helpful for rinsing before headed upstairs, and there was overall tons of space for everyone to enjoy the trip! Things you might need to know: Bring your own toilet paper & paper towels, bring plenty of bottle or gallon water, the house is all stairs and no ramp (there are pictures that show this but it was hard on my parents), we brought our own blackstone grill so we didn’t use a lot of the kitchen ware (I’m not even sure what was all there), we left a small plastic pool that our 2 year old used to play with on the beach and under the outdoor shower. Overall we had an amazing trip!! We hope you enjoy yours as much as we did!

Perfect for big family and short walk to the beach

Just a short walk to the beach made everyone happy and allowed for family to come and go. Plenty of room and beds for everyone. Older worn appliances and furniture etc, but it was perfect for a large active family. The big dining room table was nice to have during the holiday, plus allowed for keeping snacks and drinks out. A couple of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. My family fished on the beach and at the jetty, which is a short drive of a few blocks. I had forgotten that this beach allows people to drive on it. It was a mild annoyance, and not too bad because of the time of year. Would rent this house again for a family gathering. Kids had a blast.

Location is great

This is our second time staying at Beach music. We love the location to the beach as we can walk right downstairs. The house has plenty of space and plenty of beds for sleeping. Like others have mentioned, the house is showing its age and there should be some upgrades made. I would also suggest some patio furniture since four plastic chairs and one picnic table arent enough. The host was responsive with any questions or concerns though and we enjoyed our stay.

Can’t beat the proximity to beach but could use a deep clean.

The beach was easily accessible from the house and felt more private than the other ends of the beach, which was nice. We never had crowds while the other ends did. The house is showing some age but that could be overcome by a deep clean. The floor was grimy at arrival and there was a layer of dust on a lot of surfaces. We ended up washing every dish and countertop before unpacking. There are dust bunnies on the wall above the bed in the main bedroom that would just require a quick wipe down. Little things like that make a difference. As far as kitchen items, they had cooking utensils but could use new skillets as a couple were scratched up/rusted. If you are cooking for a crowd, if night be helpful to bring casserole dishes because there isn’t one there. We enjoyed having the two fridges for all the food we brought. Did not try the grill but never could find grill utensils so you might bring those along with charcoal. The upper deck was perfect for star gazing. Again, the proximity to the beach and actual neighborhood are hard to beat. You’re only a handful of minutes from a store with basic groceries if you need them. With a deep clean and replacement of some basic kitchen items, this easily would’ve rated 4.5 stars.

Perfect Beach Vacation

Our family chose this home to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday and we're so glad we did! The house was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. It accommodated our 3 families perfectly and we loved how close it was to the beach. The house also stayed so cool all day which was a pleasant surprise.

Couldn't get the Keurig coffee maker to work. Window blinds in one bedroom in bad shape. Thought the pictures online were a bit outdated. Access to the beach was great. A paint job would brighten up the exterior.
