“The first problem arose when, days before our trip, the host informed us they had double booked the house & my reservation was invalid. I was told that they had a house next door available & we could stay there. I accepted that offer. I stayed in communication with the host leading up to the visit - continuing, even, on the day of arrival - because I was requesting an early check in if it was possible. When my group of 4 arrived at the house, we found filthy conditions. Nothing had been cleaned...

Washing machine had accumulated sand under the tub and did not seem to wring clothes adequately. I was afraid to even use the dishwasher. So. I washed all dishes by hand! I never got the tv in one downstairs bedroom...
