Welcome to Prescription Blue, a 3BR/2BA Treasure Island, TX — your doctor’s orders for a healthy dose of coastal R&R. This Freeport-area retreat features a king, a queen, and a family-friendly bunk room (two twin-over-twin bunks), making the layout flexible for families, friends, or two couples traveling together. Two full bathrooms — one with tub and separate shower — give the home grown-up comfort to match the laid-back Treasure Island vibe. Comfort, coastal charm, and easy island living.

● Location: Treasure Island beach community of Surfside, Texas

● Beach Access: The home is located just up the street from the Treasure Island beach access point, a three minute walk or 30 second car ride. Plus there’s excellent fishing at San Luis Pass just a minute drive away!

● WIFI/Cable: We provide free high-speed WIFI and Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own streaming service apps.

● Pet Policy: 2 pets are allowed with a $25 fee per pet. Please keep pets off furniture, clean up after them outside, and crate them if left alone indoors.

● Parking: There is room for 4 cars in the driveway.

Prescription Blue takes its name seriously — this is the kind of home that quietly fills the prescription most of us are looking for on vacation: a cold drink, a soft breeze, and nothing in particular on the agenda. Prescription Blue is the perfect blend of comfort, coastal charm, and easy-going Treasure Island living.

Inside, the home welcomes you with a comfortable, no-fuss layout designed for restful nights and easy, unhurried days. Three well-arranged bedrooms give everyone a spot to settle in. The first is a kid-approved favorite outfitted with two twin-over-twin bunks (four twin beds total) — a fun, flexible sleeping space that works beautifully for younger travelers, cousins doubling up, or guests needing extra beds. The second bedroom features a comfortable queen-sized bed, perfect for parents, grandparents, or a visiting couple, while the third is a true grown-up retreat with a restful king-sized bed. Two full hallway bathrooms serve the home — one with a shower and a second featuring both a tub and a separate shower, offering a touch of spa-style comfort you don’t always find in Gulf Coast rentals this size.

What makes Prescription Blue special is its Treasure Island setting. Freeport’s Treasure Island is one of the Texas coast’s best-kept secrets — a laid-back, uncrowded community known for its sandy beaches, prime fishing waters, and refreshingly slow pace. Spend your days on the beach, cast a line from the shore or nearby jetties, keep an eye out for dolphins and shorebirds along the Gulf, or simply unwind with a book and the sound of the surf. When you’re ready to venture out, Freeport, Lake Jackson, Surfside Beach, and the Brazoria National Wildlife Refuge are all easy drives away, offering seafood joints, local shopping, and plenty of coastal exploration. Prescription Blue isn’t trying to be flashy — it’s trying to be the kind of place you leave feeling just a little lighter than when you arrived.

● Cancellation Policy: All cancellations are subject to a 3% credit card processing fee.

● Party Policy: No parties are allowed at our home. Please look elsewhere if that is the intent of your trip.

● Age Requirement: Guests must be 24+ to book.

We are unable to price match any rates found on other booking platforms.

House Rules:
- Guests must be 24+ to book the property.
- One-night stays must be approved.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.
- Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost.
- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after in the yard, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel.
- No parking allowed on lawns, yards, empty grass lots or other neighbors’ driveways, even if their home appears unoccupied.
- Oversized vehicles/trailers are not permitted unless explicit approval has been received from our team.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.
- Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine.
