  • This San Juan Island vacation home near Roche Harbor offers all the essentials to make your vacation memorable for your family and pets. Yes, we are pet friendly! Located on Neil Bay, this property has a nice pebble beach front just down the hill from the house, where you can sit and watch wildlife or launch your kayak. You will find a fire pit, picnic table and benches down by the beach to enjoy.
    This home is located in a desirable neighborhood on the NW side of San Juan Island, about a 20 minute drive from Friday Harbor and the ferry. You can walk or bike to nearby Roche Harbor within 20 minutes, where you'll find an airstrip, pool, post office, spa, marina, market, artists' kiosks, shops and restaurants.
    This home is an ideal setting for those who enjoy reading, cooking, hiking, kayaking and just plain
    relaxing.
    You can relax on the deck on long summer evenings and watch eagles, ducks, geese, seals, deer and other wildlife. There is a gas BBQ outside and a wood burning stove in the living room with firewood/kindling provided.
    The living room is open and bright with lots of windows and a vaulted ceiling. It is comfortably furnished with a large screen TV for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. Wireless Internet access, HDMI connection and a DVD/CD player are provided. The fully equipped kitchen offers ample space for preparing meals which can be served in the dining room that seats 6 comfortably.
    The master bedroom has a king bed and flat screen TV and the master bath has a jacuzzi tub to relax in. The second bedroom has a queen bed plus an outstanding water view from its window and private access to the deck. The loft bedroom has 2 comfortable twin beds and a half bath.
    Besides just relaxing, San Juan Island offers whale watching, kayaking, sailing, hiking and much more. Reuben Tarte Park is about 2 miles away, the Frisbee golf course is about 1 mile away. A must see is the Westcott Bay Sculpture Park and the San Juan Island Distillery both near Roche Harbor.

Loved this cabin in the woods very near to Roche Harbor, overlooking the water and a nice rocky beach. The home “was comfortable and had everything you could need with restaurants and fun things to see and do five minutes away. We especially enjoyed the Sculpture Park and walking through the artist booths at the marina, along with the great restaurants.Would definitely stay here again!

This home was very clean, tidy, and in an excellent location. The bay is right in the backyard and offered a great sunset and even entertainment watching the seals hunt for fish at night! Would love to stay again!

We LOVED this house. It was clean and comfortable and very well stocked. The location is absolutely perfect. We could truly unwind and enjoy the nature around us. We saw deer, Eagles, harbor seals, and otters just sitting on the deck enjoying the beautiful views. Thank you for sharing this lovely home.

The house was beautiful. Furnishing were great. Kitchen was the most well stocked of any homes I’ve stayed in. Super organized. Great little path to the the bay.

A lovely, comfortable home with a gorgeous setting. Plenty of thoughtful amenities from the host. Seals and lots of birds in the cove outside the home. Our only issue (and perfectly fine if expected) is that there is no shower in the primary bath...there is a large tub, but if you prefer showers, your party will need to share the one shower in the other bath. Overall, very worth the slight inconvenience for this gem of a property.

We spent our Christmas here and had a wonderful time! The home is exactly as described, plus well-maintained and clean. The view from the deck is lovely, and we loved being able to walk down to the beach.

There was only one shower, and it was awful. Sort of a misty spray, and way up high. The master bedroom only had a tub that was hard for the person staying there to climb into with a recent knee replacement. The smoke detector in the upstairs loft was not located on the highest point of the room where the smoke first goes and did not work anyway. Very dull knives in the kitchen. However, the place was clean, and the beds were comfortable. It was fun being on the water. We appreciated the basket of brochures of things to do on San Juan Island.

We came with friends that we used to camp with in younger days. This home has the wonderful feeling of camping in the woods with all the charms and conveniences of home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Amazing home on the water with room for everyone. Roche Harbor was close and a great place for dining out. Enjoyed the whole week and look forward to visiting again soon.

It was a wonderful weekend get away. This is our 2nd time staying here. It’s difficult to go wrong with this lovely home & location. We would have liked to stay longer. Perhaps next time.
